so what time will you back on here then? well the bar opens at 4 (its 3.32pm now)...add 9 beers, 10 whiskeys...and a couple of beers...that makes 9.00...drive home(SHHHHHHHHH) and start merrily posting.... so that means you'll be on here some time around 2am our time then?

well...i have another 20mins or so...but the time i get back you will all be sleeping...I will post on rbno...and here...and am sure much laughter will be had by all... As Dan and PASTIE are now departed - we'll have to make sure they get a good dose over the weekend! Sterland's been noticeably quiet too - bout time he was chucked back in the frame AND as promised last night I'm going to start work on Top Ten Posters Hotseat response. Ole "Dale's" in for some serious shit ;D that's almost tempting me back in to captioning. what's the SP Ro?

In what respect? PASTIE has headed off to Wales till next Tuesday / Wednesday and Dan has gone to NI! A while back I promised a Caption fest based on the celebrities I'd matched my Top ten Posters too on the Hotseat: just need some funny / embarrassing pics and then the fun will start So Top Ten 606 Posters (as according to Ro) - please take no offense and see the funny side. If offended or upset - TOUGH SHIT
Where do we start - fucking question would nice
38.Choose your 10 favourite posters on the board and liken them to a tv character of your choice. Explain your reasons why in each case.
And believe you this led to one sleepless night and a few beers today! Anyway, it probably ain't the best response of the 42 questions set - so if you don't laugh - Sorry
In no particular order here we go!!!!
Incredible Hulse! AH! yes, the hair meister. Mr Gel himself. This was so easy hence at the top slot (and won't need explaining either):
"Hulsey can you please tell us on "Stars on 606" who you are going to be tonight"
"Yes Roaster, tonight I'm going to be LILY SAVAGE
MrMillwall See where I',m coming from - Sarf London, bit of a wheeler, dealer, wide boy...Now I was thinking along the lines of DEL BOY TROTTER - but MrMillwall is younger and doesn't need ironing. From his pics and the fact he's a Lion I thought about Ray Winstone (but couldn't think of any TV characters - and he's a Hammer anyway)) so my choice will be the hard nut minder of Arthur Daley TERRY McCANN
Chopper Read Now Chopper was tied in tenth place as my favourite poster with the man that is Officer Groyman. And with OG - the man's a genius and spends so much time in preparing a reply with his pics etc. Top poster - but his alter ego The Rock was so easy and obvious, Chopper edged it. Now don't know much about Chopper - I know he's big! about my age and scary. And having seen his photo on the FW boards Chopper Read is GRANT MITCHELL from Eastenders
JJ This fella was soooo easy I was spoilt for choice. Small weasel featured Geordie who's ready for confrontation and likes the ladies. Plenty to work with Bit of a muppet (there's Gonzo the Great), and uglier little bro of Spender and with his moody head on JJ is the perfect Victor Meldrew (blissfully unaware of the mayhem he's caused as he tootles off to chat some lass up on MSN). However, based on his stature and looks I'm more inclined to a Rowan Atkinson character - ha ha - Mr fucking Bean. But no - not even JJ is that dozy so it's gotta be EDMUND BLACKADDER
Danthered As neither Shane McGowan nor James Bond's adversary Jaws (Richard Kiel) ain't done much (if any) telly work - I was fucked. Yes, there's Esther Ranzen - but's she's a wench and her teeth are white . So apologies here, I took into account what I know about Dan's persona that maybe isn't clear from his posting on here i.e his extensive knowledge of all things 4 wheeled and especially motor sport - and he's the right height. So Danthered is (Marlboro Light's excluded) Top Gears JEREMY CLARKSON
PASTIE Sorry PASTIE - but FFS how many Geography teachers make it to the hallowed halls of the Beeb or ITV. Really difficult here - teacher-like TV presenters - need to get across the brains and sense of humour that PASTIE possesses. Hang on - got it - might not be funny but along the Top Gear lines again it's gotta be Brainiac'sRICHARD HAMMOND
GresleyRam Fuck whatever I post here the Caption King that is Gresley will crucify me So what the hell. Now this is based on the pics that my good friend Gresley has posted here. The Cuban Giant - with fellow giant in Greece. What can I say - he's tall - the permatan - the dazzling white teeth....sorry Gres but it's gotta be DALE WINTON
Sterland4england Sorry mate - though not as bad as Gresley's. Top man is Sterland and perhaps my favourite poster on here. Lotta time and respect for the fella - who's from Yorkshire. So that got me thinking - bluff, straightforward, no-nonsense Yorkshiremen. Plenty - but most are dead (Fred Truman). But then ITV's Richard Sharpe came into my mind - but as Bean's a Blunt follower I thought that's so unacceptable. So sorry Ster - had to resort the old favourite (that you've been battered with previously) Friends' CHANDLER BING
Goalposts for Jumpers We're bro's for fucks sake (he asked this question too - bastard ) so I thought of TV brothers. Del Boy and Rodney (I'm the eldest), the Mitchells. But whatever I post people will think of me as the other 'half'. Now whilst Si ain't got blondish locks - he's certainly laddish enough, funny enough and lagerish enough to be TV's Martin Clunes' GARY STRANG from Men Behaving Badly
Golden Boy Another easy one - knowing what I do about GB - his wicked sense of humour, love of the ladies, cockneyish aspect (from Watford) this leapt out of the PC screen. Yes its that fella who presented The Generation Game . . . (not Larry grayson )
But GB is deffo JIM DAVIDSON
And just some others for later debate:-
SOOZ - Nerhys Hughes' "The District Nurse"
BADG - Yorkshire again "Ggggranville" from Open All Hours
Rotherham Blade - the spitting image of Dad's Army "Capt. Mainwaring"[/i]
