I think Blackpool may have a decent (ie mid table) season - I think Simon Grayson will do well for them. I'll go for Barnsley, Scunthorpe and possibly Bristol or Colchester. I reckon Palace and Coventry ( if they don't sort the takeover) may struggle and be down there though.
;DExalted! ;D Sadly, I don't think it's going to happen. 22. Hull 23. Barnsley 24. Scunthorpe

Interesting that no one has really mentioned QPR.
I think we will not go down due to the money we now have.

And the way we are playing reminds me of some of those seasons.

And normally you're quite acurate about these things AB! That means both Sheffield clubs down this season.

And normally you're quite acurate about these things AB! That means both Sheffield clubs down this season. Maybe, but I haven't seen you play yet this season, so can't really pass judgement on yourselves. But we have what I call 'the dead man look'. Difficult to describe what I mean, and it's not necessarily all about the way we play - more about the way the team carries itself. I've seen it numerous times and it hasn't always resulted in relegation, and in some relegation seasons it hasn't been present. But it's there now.

It's like there is a perpetual cloud hovering above their heads. We're destined for implosion. Something like that. You can't quite put your finger on it. Sometimes we could be playing quite well, but there's just that indefinable thing about the team that suggests all is not well. A lack of real heart and spirit. We had it all season during our ignominious drop into the fourth division. At Christmas we were mid table and most were thinking more of getting back in the promotion race rather than relegation. But all season I was convinced we were going down. So, perhaps I'm to blame!! We have had it once or twice since, but usually managed to make changes during the season which have transformed things. Last season I feared we'd go down, but for different reasons. The attitude of the team was fine. Does Laws seem to have any kind of bond with your players? Because that can count for a lot in a tight spot.

Both Sheffield clubs have majorly underachieved this season, but I think both managers will be sacked and form will improve. Robson is the worst appointment the Blads coulda made and its now showing..... And Laws seems to have just lost the plot.

Laws isn't a bad manager but his signings are condenming him to 'dead man walking' syndrome. We're suffering from the same bad 'mojo' that you seem to be. It's like there isn't a player within the team that wants to be at the club and that not what you want to sense in a team.

How is kavanagh doing? I wouldn't have minded him coming to us.

Kavanagh is a hell of a signing and he wants to stay as well. But he can't do all the work on his own. Whelan seems to have chucked his toys out of the pram because Kavanagh is bossing him in midfield now. He looks like a man amongst boys!
Pity Johnson got injured on Saturday as well. He seemed to be bolstering the defence.
