It's the fookin' players. SGE - England were boring and predictable, ground out the odd meaningful result.
SM - same old shit - same players and same results.
So come on - same players - same / used formations - same shit results. So it's obvious - the it's down to the manager and the management style.
Feel free to argue - but MCLAREN OUT!!!

7th game in charge ... SACK HIM ... What major difference was he gonna make from being SGE 2nd man to now being Englands top man He still had the voice to do different. It's not the players; it's the manager The players have got all the ability in the world to do good but somewhere along the past odd years we've had SGE + SM together (1st/2nd man) They've done nothing different or better with the team BRING IN BIG SAM

Aston Villa owner Randy Lerner would let Martin O'Neill speak to the FA if they wanted him to replace current England manager Steve McClaren. (Daily Mirror, Daily Express) Was my favourte choice before Maclaren lets get him in he will kick all those lazy bastards up the ass!

would be good wouldnt it He is the kind of manager to play people who are in form as well. Rather than trying to shoehorn our best players in who clearly do not fit in well i.e the midfield, I would like to think he would simply drop them for the good of the team.

I've heard some people (not myself, I hasten to add) recently saying that O'Neill's clearly not as good as everyone thinks, and that the Villa job has shown him up as being another regular manager. Any thoughts on that?

Any thoughts on that? Well we will smash them tomorrow mate so there may be some truth in it ;D Either way we need someone who is not scared of dropping people and there are only a few managers who have the balls for it. O'neill being one.

nah, he just needs some time to get everything how he wants it. lets face it he has had to work with some rather average players up until recently

We need to sack most of the FA as well for employing 2 shit managers in a row and paying them rediculous amounts of money.

O'Neill inherited a Villa team relegation bound so I think hes done a pretty good job there, but the only thing is, he is a bit defensive minded.
Anyway keep McLaren. Hes doing a fantastic job ;D

The thing with England, it's the same fart but different smell, McSven is not the man to drive the England team forward.

Can anyone tell me how David Beckham would not fit into this team?
Is SWP really a better right winger than David Beckham?
