Shefki was good for Ipswich, not so good for Blackburn. Yeah, it's such a shame he left us, I suppose that's what not playing well enough in the play-offs costs you

Yeah, it's such a shame he left us, I suppose that's what not playing well enough in the play-offs costs you The problem with Ipswich, is that they no longer have the money, and are relying on Magilton and the youth players, which is a shame. What is Sheepshanks doing about it? Despite relegation, Ipswich must of made good money from 2 seasons in Europe and the parachute payments given to them by the Premiership.

I don't wish to worry you Dudette, but clubs like Man City, Sheff Wednesday and Nottingham Forest have fallen victim to financial issues in the Championship, following stints in the Premiership, and have ended up in league one, can't see Ipswich in that division, but you never know. Is Magilton the man? Or is he the cheaper option?

I think he's the cheaper option, there's no way that if we'd had money that he'd have been put in charge.

It's a shame that Joe Royle had to go, he is a great manager, did an excellent job with Oldham, Everton and Man City, and he is the last English manager to manage a team that won the FA Cup, with Everton in 1995.

I know, but I think it was time he went. We needed fresh ideas. I was all for him during the year, but I think the second time we lost to West Ham, many fans turned against him. I think he also didn't like the transfer money amount.

I like Magilton, but he has a tall order on his hands, and is it really fair on him?

I think it's time for every Ipswich fan to realise that we're in the transition period, it's going to take a long time to come out of it and we can't expect miracles. Unfortunately, the more we stay down, the less money we earn, so something's got to give, ie the players.
