Cheers! I'm just finding it so difficult to motivate myself. I have to do a SWOT analysis on a business thing, 2 law essays, my graphics coursework and a whole maths exam. It's just depressing Swot analysis eh....thats easy You wanna make yourself a table with the headings Strengths, Weaknessess, Opportunities, Threats and then apply them to what the subject is........if you need a hand give us a bell (email or pm) and ill try and help you

Cheers bud, i might take you up on that offer at some point! I think i may do the two law essays this evening as i can do those on my laptop while in bed tonight. Get them out of the way when there is nothing on tv. Just out of interest, does your current job entail your product design degree? And if yes, did the degree help you get that job?

No worries mate, if i can help i will as i did those things loads of times when covering marketing. Good stuff, get some done when its quiet and bugger all on....at least you wont need to be up early. In a way yes it does cos i work in advertising and the background knowledge of marketing and creativity and innovation in design gave me an edge over others so yeah i guess the degree did help although ultimatly i do want to go into design proper......designing cars would be a dream ;D

You never know, you might get headhunted by Mercedes or Rolls Royce! Or a car company you like or something, lol. I don't think i would go into designy type things because i am the least artistic person you could meet. Thats why i chose graphics and not art, because a lot of graphics is straight lines, and i can deal with using a ruler, but once i am freestyling like in art, well, i'm buggered!

Na mate i doubt that although you never know lol.....i could go in for the apprentice one year that would be fun.
Mate you dont need to be a wiz at drawing really because they teach you all the basic skills even at degree level and i can safely say we had some people that could not draw for toffee at the start then 3 years later they could draw and render a car to look so real!

Trust me, as long as you have the passion and commitment for the subject, the skills will follow.....i saw a few people come a long way in a short space of time and some of the stuff they create now is pukka! Lol id be well up for it too but my buisness knowledge isnt sound enough and id get ripped to shreds by them all especially sugar lol...it would be like lambs to the slaughter

Errm, yes. I had done a few sketch ideas, however the model i made is nothing like any of my sketch ideas. Sooo, i have made room on my sketch idea page for one more, where i will draw one similar to that of my model, then develop that idea to look like my model! ;D
