I discovered to my surprise that Danny Baker has written about this whole Ipswich goal music debate in his column for The Times 'The Game' supplement! Seems he thinks our whole selection is either dull or overused (so basically bollocks) and suggests we use something original. His suggestion - Half a Boy, Half a Man. Don't know who it was by, the one I've listened to was by 'Queen Ida and her Zydeco Band' (WTF?!) but I thought it was balls. I never liked 'The Two Dannys' column anyway. Danny Baker always has an opinion on everything (and it's usually total shite) and I'll never forgive Danny Kelly for pronouncing my name wrong. I don't see what's wrong with Chelsea Dagger or Song 2 or One Step Beyond. This whole 'overused' argument is bollocks anyway; as soon as we find a 'new' song to use, then unless it's crap, at least 2 other clubs would be using it within a few months! So arse to the lot of it! Lol!

Seems Fiesta by The Pogues is being suggested as one of the 'other' tunes in Town's poll. I've heard it myself and as much as it's lively, I don't think it's suitable. Also being suggested by many is Monster by The Automatic (take note, Dudette). I like this track, but the fans aren't exactly gonna be singing it cos... well... it wouldn't make any bloody sense!!! Lol!!

Nooo..no-one else can have that! I don't rate it tbh I much prefer Strings for Adagio. And I'd rather have the full MOT blaring out before KO to get an atmosphere going.

I know that Adagio for Strings one, but I don't think they'd use it. Might feel like you're at a rave or something!

I don't think of Kevin 'n' Perry when I hear that though cos I've just heard it so many times elsewhere. "The stereotypical Ipswich fan"? What are you suggesting?! That all Ipswich fans are just quiet little people from leafy Suffolk who wouldn't say boo to a goose?! Completely untrue!... ...I'm a quiet little person from boring Warwickshire... who wouldn't say boo to a goose... Lol!

We have Born Slippy just before kick off (and a round of 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling') I'm pretty sure this is the music played after goals, but not 100% sure - the 'woo hoos' really piss me off mind you, scrap post goal music! www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBBqOTd5qzE

You've never seen the late night rave at the Great Bi-annual Lowestoft Farmers Piss-up when everyone's hammered on their own homemade moonshine... LOL!!
