Fantastic!! We've beaten the scum again! And Danny Haynes - I was thinking before the match that all this "derby goal specialist" business would come to nothing, but bloody hell, he's done it again and this time he's done it even better!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Being the poor Midlander I am, I could only listen to this game on Five Live, but it seems to me that apart from Danny Haynes, there was only one other big contender for Man of the Match today - Gary Roberts. Sounded as though he was creating absolutely everything and for an Accy Stanley loan player, he's not just made the step up, he's shooting up to the top floor! Who would you vote for? And any comments about the game are of course welcome. Well, more than welcome. Directly relevant. Inevitable. Crucial. Vital....

Cheers. Cracking game, cracking result. I voted for Roberts too - as much as Haynes was fantastic putting away those two goals having come on as a sub (especially that second one - excellent strike), Roberts was creating chances and giving it everything for the whole 90mins. What a performance.

Every player was outstanding ( apart from the customary richards mistake for the goal ), but roberts just shades the mom vote from leggy

I recorded the match, so I've just watched it again ;d ;d ;d. This has been the best Sunday in a long, long time! Roberts, definately man of the match. He managed to contain Darren "No-neck" Huckerby really well . The defence played well containing Earnshaw. Only downside was Richard's defending for their goal (and one of his corners), but I'm not complaining, as it's so nice to have the other manager say how they looked poor for once! ;D Did anyone else hear them play Jaws to welcome Peter Grant?

I recorded the game for my brother, but watched it again, and when I saw Chadwick crash into the board, I felt so sorry for him. Is it a dislocated shoulder or what? I thought he's smacked his head from where I was sitting. He may be playing for the old enemy, but you don't like to see people injured like that.
