Ipswich boss Jim Magilton says he is "keeping an eye" on Sunderland's former Town midfielder Tommy Miller.
source - bbc sport......... guessing this points to a loan deal. id be ALL FOR this move
also, after the Brummy game, to me its obvious Darren Currie REALLY HAS GOT to be in the side his crossing ability is second to none in this league, and better than a lot in the prem

But who would make way for him? It's so good to see that Magic has a selection headache! Although we need to see what's what when the loan deals expire for Noble & Walton. Big decisions need to be made IMO

Yeah, I agree with that bluey and bluemonkey. I was thinking about it this morning, I'd be all for seeing Tommy Miller back at Portman Road, we all know his ability to score. But then again, with Walton deciding that he's going to score it could be an interesting few weeks here ;D Currie has the great ability to provide very good crosses, in fact the best in the division, so he is a keeper. I suppose once Noble or Walton's loans are finished, then maybe he could slip in somewhere

for me,,,,,,, Walton is definately going back Charlton signed him, so he will get his chance there, so i think in January he may well be off having said that,,,,,,,, if he plays well / we're doing well, we cud renew his loan until the end of the season Nobles a bit different in my opinion.......... as West Ham have been taken over, so he could be told he isn't need - so could be a signing dependent on price... ! unsure how much Sunderland would want for Miller,,,,,,,,,, but i think he'd definately get into the side !

It's a shame really, Miller was a good player. I was sad to see him go. I hope that Jim continues his interest in him, because I'm sure Miller would get his chance

miller would be on a loan then free at the end of season, and currie should def not be in the team, but he could be a useful sub. He slows down the play too much.

One prob with that is that Miller and Jim are best of mates, we worried about Jim having the bottle to drop Bambam and Fab, Miller would be more of the same. Would be a good signing I actually think now (having bagged him before) but would like a loan spell prior to it. Not sure if Mrs Miller wants to come back down here, so will prob get a game with one of the Northern Clubs who will get him for free and offer more dosh without the need to move. Currie we should sell while he still has worth cos he's gone at the end of the year and will chase the money, he's not a starter at the mo and is a drain on wages - get rid! Nothing against him myself btw, just looking at it from an asset / finance point of view?!
