I first said this on the Tottenham thread, in reply to a post from Mozz (with a few tweaks):
It's not going to be our season this season. Some Ipswich fans believe that this team can lead us to the play-offs this season (as far as I've heard). We're in a big transition period and it's going to take a long time to sort it out. Not many of us trust the board anymore, I certainly don't. Why do you think we appointed Jim as manager? Because we have little money, but, at least finally we have a manager who wears his heart on his sleeve and who loves this club as much as the fans. As long as we keep the faith with Jim (which many of us are) then we should be OK. I've finally watched us play, and we had moments of inspiration but then we've been utter crap. Maybe a few more loan signings will help us.

No Dudette, that about sums it up just right. This season we are looking to bring a few players in cheap, and bring on the youth players, and hopfully finish mid table. Jim will have gained the experience during this year, and maybe then next season we can mount a challenge... but certainly not this one.
