RIght for starters - transfer budget , what is available ?
and where do we need 2 strengthen ?
id say Left back , and Central midfield perhaps
get an experienced player in well not TOO old but sum1 who will give 100% to the cause and really get involved
targets please ........?!

Don't think much, if any, cash will be available. Only cash I can see coming is from Mr. Bent playing in the World Cup. Where do we need to strengthen? Defence. Midfield? Nah, can't see too many problems there...or attack if we stay injury free.

Dont think LB, Scott Barron is ok - changed my mind about McEveley, know hes been injured but hes not the same. Joes mentioned a new CB and maybe a defensive holding midfielder. Oh and Ricardo Fuller but thats just a dream. The main problam with our squad is that we dont have enough players in their prime, theyre either too old or too young. Only Alan Lee, Sam Parkin and Gavin Williams are in their mid to late 20's.

another centre back and we should be fine aslong as every one else is fit
and maybe another centre mid seeing as we are losing three of them

yeah i dont think theres too much wrong with our squad !
other clubs ( relegated prem sides, cardiff, wolves, ) may well have 2 sell and other squads will alter a fair bit i reckon
where as,,,,,,, ours wont !
couple additions n we're up there once more

if they had played regular football they won't be on frees unless its Crewe who have been forced to let a couple go, i think West Brom might have to let a couple go aswell tho

but i spose peters / williams / currie can all play MR
a QUALITY holding player with a good passing range is required i feel 2 let garvan / and the rest play their game more so.........

Well we have missed a regular goal scoring midfielder. Even if Forster and Lee knock in 20 each next season we still need more goals from somewhere else

I heard rumours that we might bring back Tommy Miller, somehow I think this is highly unlikely.

Would be good, however hes still contracted and is a regular at Saints - We do need someone similar to drive the team forward. Hopefully Garvan and Williams can do this if not
