Well he is a very big guy. His whole body is covered in Leicester tattoos....was he topless today...it was a bit cold! I want to see that again, doubt that they'll show it on the championship but one of my mates was in line with it and thought it was onside. Maybe these things even themselves out with the penalty. I saw the flag quite early...and it was quite funny to watch the away fans going mental for ages towards the home fans to your left before they realised it had been disallowed. ;D King's goal was pretty sweet though, yeah? Thoroughly undeserved at the end of the first half...shame we couldn't build on it! And how did Hume miss that 1 on 1 and then Newton miss the open goal follow up!? Im sure he has enough insulation I looked up and it wasnt up so i started going mental, i was in the last seat before the segregation next to the stand with fatty drummer and was really giving some and then my mate punched me in the arm and pointed to the flag Yeah was a lovely strike, we never close down long range shots Yeah i thought hume's chance was going to score, was a good save. Though i thought we passed quite well, which were nice to see. I noticed one of the sponsor banners around the edge of the stadium was called 'Smeg' i thought that was funny ;D Aye, can't say I'd want to sit next to him on a supporters coach or anything! Ahh I see...I'd like to say oh yeah I saw ya...but I didn't. I was in the end stand opposite....sat on a white seat that comprised one of the foxes' heads about halfway up the stand. We needed to do more of that really...we looked very nervous going forward...oh well west brom down here next week. You did pass it around well, first team to visit and play football the right way I think this season. Haha...not seen that, I'll look out for it. ;D

Hopefully we'll have some strikers back by then....Burnley away first! Cool....a meeting or per chance encounter? a picture of Chloe or the sign?

Still even if we lose we won't slip down the table for a few hours. I've seen nothing to convince me otherwise today that we're gonna lose! Ahh I see...tell her to get her ass off of foxestalk and to come back on here! I was just walking past the top end of the ground when your coaches got there...I was thinking of waiting to see if I could recognise you but I was late for meeting my mate.

Well I expect only Ash and Rich to bother reading/watching the clips and pics from my report of yesterday but here we go anyway. Aplogies for the Youtube vids from my phone (I dunno how to rotate them so bend your heads chaps!) but persevere with them when you press play, they shouldn't take too long too load. Oh and the picture quality of the photos are typical phone standard, some were a bit crap but oh well. One of my family members works as Milan Mandaric's PA and arranged a VIP day out for some of us at the Walkers Stadium where we were invited to experience the matchday hospitality as well as having the erm....’privilege’ of watching Leicester v Saints. Suited and booted, it was a relatively quick 2 hour drive for us getting to the stadium and into the Gary Linekar suite for a sit down meal at 12:30. On the way in, we saw lots of cool Leicester memorabilia from the Coca Cola Cup to signed shirts and a Gary Linekar head! Up into the suite where we had people waiting on us hand and foot, we enjoyed Salmon for starters, Steak for the main course, Tiramissu for dessert, not bad at all. The bar was free as well and those who didn’t drive enjoyed the free alcohol on offer whilst those of us that did drank the Orange Juice dry (good old Milan and his bar tab!) All around us was like a shrine to Gary Linekar and lots of cool stuff were up all over the show in the lounge. Here's just an example from by our table. We met Ian Holloway and George Burley after the meal and had a pre match chat with them both. I admitted to Ollie I was a Leeds fan and said how much we love having Kish back at our club. He joked that he could do with loaning some of our players the way they were going but he was a fine bloke, very much salt of the earth and not with his head up his arse. We met 3 players before the game who came up to do a sort of question and answers thing. Never heard of any of ‘em beforehand in truth (Joe Mattock, Sergio Hellings and Andy King, the latter we would definatly know by the end of the day!) Close to the game we took the short walk out the suite and into the stand, couldn’t have a more glorious view in truth sat right in the executive box with Milan Mandaric! Bloody freezing though! (Tip your heads to the sides lads, my fault filming from the side of the phone) To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the attendance but lets face it, Leicester are no Leeds United Still there was a good sense of atmosphere as the teams came out and the game prepared to kick off. As the first half got underway, Leicester started brightly. Looking to get the ball up to Cort and Hume early, they pressured the Saints defence with a few testing crosses before following with what was the best chance of the game not to be scored. Hume put clean through on goal failed to capitalise on his chance and shot straight at Davis when he had all the time in the world. From that moment on, one team dominated and they were not playing in Blue. Saints slowly but surely got a grip of the game thanks mainly to Surman controlling the midfield and the forward runs from the back courtesy of Phil Ifil. Although clear cut chances were few and far between, Saints kept held of possession, passing the ball around nicely and always looking the most likely to score. And score they did. Stern John finishing well after good play from Safri and Dyer. Ifil took a bit of a nasty challenge from someone shortly after who IMO was lucky not to see red. Half time approached and just as it looked like we were heading into the suite with disgruntled Leicester fans, King, the nipper we met before the game who no one had heard of let fly from about 30 yards that flew into the net. Leicester fans went nuts, the Fratellis celebratory music pounded in the backfground and the half time whistle blew with a smile on Milan’s face on the way in. It was harsh on Saints. Out from the cold into the warm as we enjoyed Tea/Coffee, Sarnies or a quick pint if you weren’t driving. Oh and Soccer Saturday beaming in the background…nothing too interesting happening though around the country especially in the Premiership. We took our seats just as the 2nd half got underway and Saints didn’t take long to assert themselves again. Clemance's 'handball' looked dubious but it was still harsh really, there was too much doubt but the ref blew straight away for it. Whether it was a penalty or not, the impressive Surman slotted it away with ease much to the delight of the raving southerners who made the trip up from back home. (See film...apologies, I had my phone on the side so slant your heads) A Leicester siege on the Saints goal was expected but didn’t materialise. Just boring hoofs and lack of ideas from a team that didn't look like troubling the teams in the top half of the table for a while thats for sure. Instead it was Saints who maintained possession cutting through the Leicester defence and but for that final clinical pass or shot, could have added to their lead. The impressive Dyer, was often on the receiving end of fouls but was having a good game. Wright at left back was passing the ball around nicely and even 'B Dub' (Bradley Wright Phillips) had enjoyed a good game holding the ball up. Only Stern John was really the let down. The Leicester fans went quiet, I don’t think even they could see where a goal was coming from. Davies and Bennett were solid at the back...thou shall not pass. The most vocal they were infact was when they harshly booed Carl Cort when he came off but in all honesty, he was fed scraps and hoofballs all afternoon. Even the lively Hume had his head dropped knowing that it was one of those days at the office. Milan, constantly head in hands shaking his fist couldn’t contain his frustration anymore and made a swift escape at the final whistle obviously disappointed with what he’d seen. With the painful spectacle over, it was back into the suite for hot Turkey rolls before the post match presentation. No Ollie though, he had kept the players locked in the changing room for a good 25 mins after the game obviously giving them a bit of a telling off. Instead, a Leicester legend, Alan Burchenall came up to do it. Leicester only do man of the matches for their own players so it was the young nobody at the start of the day, Andy King who got it for his stunning goal. Burchenall put on a brave face having a joke and a laugh during the presentations. Milan Mandaric made his way in and went round speaking to a few people including those on our table for a bit. The guy was very disappointed but put himself out to ask if we’d all had a good time. We asked him what he thought on the game and he agreed they were shocking putting the blame into having too many youngsters carrying the burden. Good job I never reminded him then that Leeds had De Vries and Kish on loan. We had a tour round the stadium after most the people buggered off home. We saw all the other boxes, th function rooms where all the parties are held, Milan’s room, the boardroom before going down to the tunnel and out onto the pitch. That was quite a good feeling and gave a good impression of what it would be like to play in the stadium. We went in the changing rooms and saw the mess left from the Saints players, they had proper trashed it. We saw Ollie after his press conference although he was fuming and moaning about the fans and the referee to a coach and some other guy. We didn’t speak to him as he obviously needed some space. Then that was about it. We said ourgoodbyes to some of the people who we'd met and who looked after us for the day in reception whilst players made their way out to do whatever they had planned for the evening. We said goodbye to my cousin and home we went. A great day out in all and nice to be treated like luxery too! Just a shame it was a dour game. Saints have the ability to push for the playoffs but need to be far more consistant. Leicester, looked poor, very poor and they need to bring in players or they could struggle.

Wow I think its safe to say that the very least you deserve for that is an exalt. Excellent report! Glad you had a great day. The hospitality in the corporate/executive area at the Walkers is excellent. Has to be really to make up for whats on the pitch! Joe Mattock is a good prospect mate - he's in the England U21s at the minute and made a goal line clearance in their last game, and obviously Andy King scored that screamer. Sergio Hellings has never played for us, one of Allen's duff signings! I can remember looking over to the corporate area towards half time and everyone was streaming out for their half time pint. Fair play for sticking about, it was some goal! Sorry you saw us at our utter worst...but thats more common than not at the Walkers Stadium at the minute. Just be thankful you don't support that shower and have to go watch them play West Brom next week! Didn't feel too great watching the penalty again lol but it was nice to hear 'Leicester, Leicester' ring out from the kop to try and get the team going again. Didn't work lol and then the negativity comes on. Cort's reception was very harsh and he is 1 of a number of scapegoats at the club for poor performances from the team. Clemence annoyed me particularly yesterday. Poor attendance yesterday, worst of the season by some way...but thats after 5 seasons of utter crap, particularly at home and still respectable. If we were winning and near the top, I think we would comfortably get the largest crowds from the current lot of teams in this league. The fans will come back when the football does. Haven't met Ollie or Milan personally but Birch is a good laugh!

I dunno....just for a change now and again its nice to feel like a somebody eh! I got a new mate in Milan now anyway! My tour guide was my cousin Ros! She is Mandaric's PA. He took her away from us when she worked at Pompey for him, now she's lost to the hole that is Leicester but it was great to see her. I was quite impressed with Leicester's facilities though Gres...much better than St Mary's I must admit. But as you say, the trophy cabinet leaves a lot to be desired! ;D

Ever since Mandaric poached her from his time at Pompey, we never see her anymore! All the hospitality staff were great though and looked after us, I couldn't have a bad word to say about any of 'em. Fair enough, I didn't know any of 'em and haven't seen Mattock play but as I said, King scored a hell of a goal and looks a good prospect. He looked a bit overwhelmed actually taking his MOTM award! We were almost right behind the guy when he scored that thunderbolt, it was a hell of a goal to be fair. I got to be honest mate, I was quite bored. The quality wasn't there and the lack of atmosphere for large periods of the game didn't help matters. Granted, you can't play that bad every week and you'll play worse teams than Saints, but it doesn't look good mate. You need some players, I can't for the life of me imagine why you let us have Kishishev. Hu,me looked to be the only bright spark but even he kinda lost interest in the 2nd half. Wasn't impressed with the defending mate either, that right back is a shambles (is it Stearman?) I was surprised at the crowd seeing as the Cardiff game had about 28k for a Monday night. Apparently, we were told a deal was done where season tickets got to bring 2 mates to the game though for free as a one off, thats why it boosted the attendance. Ollie is a quality bloke and I don't think I've ever met a bloke like him. He was happy as larry before the game, and mad as a hatter after it! He was having an animated discussion with someone when we passed the press room and we didn't bother him as he looked ready to let someone have it. He wasn't happy with the ref and the fans by all accounts. I know that Alan Burchenall said the players were locked in the dressing room for a while why Ollie let 'em have it! Milan is quiet but he still takes time out to talk to you. He seemed like he genuinly cares for your club and he was quick to emphasise that there is too much on the kid's shoulders at the mo, you need players in January. Found out some goss on Martin Allen too!

He's a good lad King, it was nice to see him break into the first team and I hope the goal yesterday helps him improve as a player. I'd have been overwhelmed being a Leicester City player picking up MOTM after that! I think I'd have given it to Sheehan if it had to go to one of ours, the left back. His set pieces are awesome and were our only source of threat yesterday. He has to work on the rest of his game though and I thought he was much better yesterday. Our academy is great, producing some great players at the minute. The senior pros are letting us down though! I think its a case of keep it ticking over to January...I am concerned though that we needed decent points from the last 2 games or we could be in trouble with a tough run of games now. But I'm prepared to give Ollie time to build his own team and develop the youngsters. I'm not impressed with Stearman either, Kenton would be a better RB there. Give us back Kishi please! No he's right to be aggrieved with the fans for jeering and the ref for the pen but can't ignore the more fundamental problems with the performance. Jury is out on Milan for me...he has made some crazy decisions but Ollie is the right guy for us...we just desparately need some stability and togetherness. Care to spill?

No he's right to be aggrieved with the fans for jeering and the ref for the pen but can't ignore the more fundamental problems with the performance. Jury is out on Milan for me...he has made some crazy decisions but Ollie is the right guy for us...we just desparately need some stability and togetherness. Care to spill? Well the poor girl is pretty much his slave but in a nice sense. Its really a 7 day job, I mean she does get breaks for sure but she does have to do a hell of a lot for him. She drives him to get his haircut lol, does his shopping and all stuff like that. But then, she gets an awful lot of perks with the job backand the money is bloody excellent. Thing is, where he's still a bit old he calls her Rose instead of Ros ;D I wasn't impressed with the left back at all! He was awful I thought and Bradley Wright Phillips and Phil Ifil easily exploited him in that position. Granted some of his delivery from set pieces were ok but in the main as you touched on, the other sides to his game are weak, defending is not his strong point! I don't think you'd go down or anything but lets face it, your amibition and aspirations have got to be playoffs really, I mean its a Premiership set up and everything. To be frank, you don't look anywhere near that target and it'll need a vast improvement to break in the top 6. I think that things are in place to snowball there though. Get some good young players in with the odd bit of experience and I'm sure your gaffer will get them going in the right direction. The crowds would probably pick up again and you'd be a much different prospect. You've a good academy as you said. I guess we'll see what happens, I think Milan is in it for the long haul though and the future is bright even though it looks a little bleak now. Can't say too much on the Martin Allen affair other than Milan did not get on with him on a personal level for one reason and another, mainly because of Allen's character and unwillingness to listen to others and as he's the boss he decided enough was enough! He had to face a fans backlash at a club forum or something in which he tried to calm down the unrest. Don't think the rest of the staff were too sad to see him go in all honesty. By the way, we were all given Leicester scarfs and key rings in a box set...I sooooo came close to binning mine!

Well I guess its good to have friends in high places! She must work hard, the guy has had a lot to do since he's got here...and it appears theres still a big task ahead! By the way, we were all given Leicester scarfs and key rings in a box set...I sooooo came close to binning mine! Wow that is a lot! Does she do his money laundering as well? Still at least she has a very diverse job and when your boss is a multi-millionaire who isn't afraid to splash his cash I'm sure the perks are plentiful! Hmmm I thought the left side was our only outlet going forward which is important in a team that struggles to create. He did out some good balls in and his crosses were more up to the standard of his dead balls yesterday. Defensively he had issues as you say but I thought he was terribly exposed by Hayes who was cutting inside an awful lot and not helping out with the defending too much. Premiership set up...hmmm I'm a bit bored of that attitude tbh. It is...and I know we'd fill the place in the Prem...just look around some of the current Prem teams and you see the potential we have. But at the end of the day, I'm fed up of the fans' expectations of Premier League football. We are where we are and we've been crap for ages now. We have no natural right to be anywhere and have to work for it as teams like Plymouth and Ipswich seem to be doing. I wish our fans would realise that its a big rebuilding job...we won't get promoted this year but I'm confident Ollie will slowly build us a side that maybe can challenge next year. I did read in the paper today that Milan was thinking of walking out on football this week after the midweek story! I hope he does well by us, we just need everyone pulling in the right direction. Hopefully that will happen now!
