Megson's post match interviews are quite interesting...he is actually prepared to criticise individual players. Probably because we've got a squad of 45 players and it doesn't matter if he upsets a few!

wow thats late! Take it you closed up then! I'd been asleep for 3.5hrs then. Thats over an hour later than it should have been even with a close. The people doing it with me just stood around chatting for hours. I ended up doing more than double of my share, and I wasn't even meant to be closing I was rather foul-tempered last night (could you tell?). I'm better now. Just woke up. I love living on my own sometimes... ;D

sounds a bit harsh on you, can't you sort of make them do stuff, don't they wanna get home vaguely early too. I'd hate to work nights. You missed the championship then.

Right, been very busy so not had chance to put my ten penneth in, so here is my take on the recent goings on. Went to the Forest game the other night, absolutely fantastic result and a cracking atmosphere as expected. None of us really knew what was going on tho when the keeper went up the other end and scored, I thought at the time he was making a point but an excellent example of fair play and common sense. And at least this way no-one can moan about the result. Make no mistake though, we DID NOT play well in this game, and to be honest the result, great as it was, has more to do with Forest's inability to kill the game off than us playing well enough to win. Oh and by the way, from where I was sitting, it was more than a small section of fans chanting Martin Allen's name. But great character shown by a team that's had a lot to deal with lately, so I went absolutely mad as one would expect. So then, off to the Valley I went on Saturday, and what a bloody shower. Might have been able to get away with a tepid performance against Forest but we were completely undone here. We just never got going, and both goals were spectacular examples of utterly appalling defending. Charlton got two goals without having to do a great deal and weren't particularly good themselves. Having said that, I can only remember us having ONE decent pop at goal, so a really poor game. Fans got very tetchy as well and there were several punch ups among Leicester fans which is always very disappointing. I'll also be going to Villa on Weds, and with the attacking options they have, I think we're gonna get absolutely torn apart. Sorry about the lack of positivity, but I haven't seen a lot football-wise lately to change my mind. On the plus side, Saturday wasn't a total loss. I happened to bump into none other than Mr Mandaric at the London Bridge train station! Something of a surprise, surely he should have had a plush car or helicopter or something to take him to the game, but he seemed happy enough to mix with the fans. Very good to see when a lot of chairmen don't even bother going to half the games! Anyhow, he obligingly signed my tickets, I shook his hand and wished him a good game - very nice chap. Sorry, but I lost my bottle to ask him any awkward questions on Martin Allen's departure!!

By the sounds of it, it takes some bollocks for him to be mingling amongst the fans! ...I can just imagine the scenes if Ken Bates ever appeared in the kop... Not sounding too good for you lot from what you're saying If it's any consolation- my opinion on Leicester has really changed over the last couple of months- I've gone from hating you (various reasons) to being able to tolerate you- due to you sportingly giving Forest a goal, and voting against our -15 pts. Would be better if all the clubs n the FL used the common sense your club does!

It was one of those desperation things. I knew it would be a damnsite later (seeing as I had to drop someone at Derriford) than five am by the time we I finished if I didn't do something. The motherfuckers tried to get me in tonight as well. They waited till eleven thirty-five (we stop delivering at eleven thirty) to ask me. I told the manager to swivel, and walked out.

Mandaric does have bottle and makes some tough decisions, they're just not always the right ones! Thanks dude, yeah those things made me proud to be a City fan and proves the club can do things right. But on a footballing side, I'd question a lot of decisions at the managerial and chairman level.

He does have a plush car too, but going by train is good. I like how he mixes with the fans, but am a bit unsure when he talks as if he is a fan. He's a businessman at the end of the day, and will sitch us when he's made some money. Its alright to be negative, I feel just the same! But in the cold light of day, I still think its a bit early to be too critical of Megson's decisions. But surely he can see the things that thousands of fans can.

What they're getting you to is ridiculous, and as you're a good worker, I kinda think your in a position where you can do what you did. Its only a job afterall and they'll have nobody else to do it better.

I was at the other end of the ground and didn't hear it but know it happened and the people involved are all clearly mindless twats who don't have deserve a place as a supporter of our club. I hope that the club succeeded in seeing who the people were from the cctv and gave them a life ban. All clubs have this mindless minority, your own included and there was racist chanting from Leeds fans in that and other games at Leicester, and those people should be dealt with in the same way - zero tolerance. The idiots at my club, yours and all others shouldn't make the experience worse for the normal fans. Arrogance - Hmmm I can think of some words to describe our fans, that wouldn't be one of them. If you're talking about bbc 606 there were some twats on here but on a match day its a mix of families and normal people with their mates like most other clubs. Cheating - I don't recall...... Savage - Mmm yeah give you that one! we also had dennis wise for a short while...but that might not bother you. bogey team - that'll always be the case mate (ooh and theres the arrogance! ;D )

As you say we've certianly got our fair share of arseholes. Although it doesn't make it right; I believe the racist chanting stemmed from your fans coming out with the istanbul chants, but whether that's true or not... Again ...that would be the minority- we certainly aren't a racist club (not anymore anyway)- the stands at ER are getting more racially representative by the week There's definitley an air of self-importance/superiority that some your fans carry, and it does come over as arrogance- god knows what you've got to be arrogant about though!? Some of the 606 foxes were hilarious- bring back original lloyd! ;D

Some of the 606 foxes were hilarious- bring back original lloyd! ;D Yeah agreed mate that happens but as I say all teams have them, some larger than others and both of our clubs probably fall in that bracket. I heard it was the other way around but I don't know...and similar things had happened before (http://www.bbc.co.uk/leeds/sport/2003/03/ridsdale/factifile.shtml - Jan 1998) - but either way I think its irrelevant. Clubs should be encoraged to take a very firm line on the whole thing but I'm not going to chant about Istanbul - as wouldn't 99% Leicester fans; you wouldn't chant racist stuff (nor would 99% Leeds fans)....both our clubs have good initiatives to tackle this sort of stuff so I think everyone should unite in condemnation rather than just accuse a club of being this or that when its only a few involved. Ok we'll agree to differ on that. I think our fans are fickle but also mostly pessimists - when you have a pessimistic outlook, it makes it difficult to be arrogant. Perhaps we were back in the days of MON. I think we are a bigger club than half a dozen in the Prem but we're just not good enough to be there - simple as - if that makes me arrogant.... I thought Lloyd was quite funny and brought a better class of WUM! ;D

Always nice to be popular!
I don't really know what the measure of a big clubs is any more. If it's fan base then we're up there, but I don't think you can judge a club by its infrastructure nowadays - loads of lower league clubs have a nice stadium or top training facilities.
It probably just means all the money's been put in the wrong places - the facilities rather than the players.
