Going to this game! so we'd best win....but somehow I doubt it. May see the first appearance for Carl Cort. I'd start him instead of De Vries. Come on Leicester!!!

Truly an inept a performance from Watford over recent seasons. Currently 0-4. But how different it could have been. McAnuff missed an empty net early on & Shittu a simple header & for the first fifteen minutes it was a stroll . Hume scored a wonder goal which seemed to knock the stuffing out of Watford who collapsed. Leicester thoroughly merited the win twice hitting the woodwork whilst Shittu had an effort off the line . Williamson escaped an elbowing but will surely get a retrospective red card. Shambolic at the back. de Vries is not that great a forward yet Shittu let him have the run around. Perhaps Demerit & Shittu are tired having come back on Friday morning from international duty but its still no excuse . Two of the goals were fortunate apparently a deflection off the wall & a handballed effort from Campbell but thats luk for you .We had it against Wolves. Truth is we're fortunate to have two wins.Draws against Wolves 7 the Blades were fair results & have hidden the fact that this squad has a lot of work to do. The midfield is lacking & I've always to be fair argued for the inclusion of Rinaldi as there is simply no invention in there. The dressing room is unsettled too. After a few more games about the end of September we will see where we stand but Aidy has a lot of work to do. The signings of Gosling ,Sinclair .Dong etc cant come soon enough to shake the complacency of some players. Same old Championship .All a muchness of a muchness with no outstanding team(s) so it would appear. I'm most disappointed from the lack of fight & pride from the Hornets. Hopefully just a rare bad day at the office.

Just got back - an absolutely unbelievable game! Utterly delighted about the result, but there's no way even the most optimistic of Leicester fans expected this.
I thought we played some superb football today. Ditched the useless long ball, so the passing was real slick this afternoon.
I felt Watford started much the brighter in the opening 15mins, gave us something of a rude awakening and, to be honest, Fulop looked a bit suspect all afternoon. Hume's goal was absolutely sensational, particularly as my seat was such to see the line and flight of the ball perfectly into the top left - brilliant goal!
Real good news for us as well to have scored two goals from set-piece situations, which have tended to be real dry for us in previous seasons. And finally Mark De Vries, who was a source of comedy most of the afternoon, but without actually playing that badly, got the goal he's waited so long for. I personally was really pleased for him.
We hit the woodwork a few times so it was a highly attacking performance overall - very very pleased with the tempo and style of play. I was just a bit surprised by Watford's lack of teeth after what was a promising opening to the game. Their fans were very quiet all afternoon, though to be fair they didn't really have much to cheer about.
Bit silly that there were 4mins of added time at half time, and 6mins at the end of the 90 - given the score, the game was clearly going nowhere and it all got a bit tetchy in added time. A strange penalty decision I thought but I'd have to see it again. Disappointing as well that the referee brandished 11 yellow cards in a game which wasn't really all that physical - he had a bad game.
Unusually the crowd were brilliant at the Walkers, so hopefully we'll carry all this enthusiasm and optimism into Tuesday night.
BRING ON THE FOREST! ;D

Wow!! Oh yess, 4-1 what a win!! That was incredible stuff, been a long long time since a performance like that. Fantastic stuff. Exalted for your thoughts Ovechkin. Yeah I agree with much of what you say, we were slow out the blocks and you could have scored immediately but after Hume's (wonder) goal we were fairly at ease. It was a pretty even first half thereafter without much goal mouth action but we had the half time lead. Second half, i don't know what Allen said to them but we were awesome. Hitting the woodwork twice in a minute and soon going on to rack up the score to 2-0, 3-0 and later 4-0. All 3 goals in the 2nd half happened right in front of me and all 3 players celebrated there so whatwith being near the front maybe I'll be on the championship celebrating when they track the players. ;D Campbell and De Vries looked very delighted (the former kissing the badge...dangerous!! ). Not sure if Campbell was handball but Sheehan's was definitely deflected. I was the other end of the pitch to the penalty but have no idea what it was for, shame the ref had to spoil our clean sheet in stoppage time. But hey, I'm not complaining. I was surprised that Watford finished with 11 men though, it looked an elbow to me and Allen was livid. Still hopefully what comes around goes around and when a decision goes our way it will matter. Sorry Ovech, but Watford offered very little today, didn't really show up. Hume playing deeper and on the right seemed to work. Weso is a great partner for Clemence in midfield. Clarke looks decent but the new goalkeeper didn't have to do much so I'll reserve judgement on him for now. I thought McAuley and Kisnorbo were outstanding at the back too...like rocks! Didn't see enough of Kaebi by the time the interpreter had instructed him what to do but he looks fast and sharp. Atmosphere was outstanding too, best its been for a while there and most people went away happy!

It was much better, I like it when we play with a bit of pace and purpose...Watford really struggled to cope. Though the players tired towards the end...but it was very hot.

Ah I was so pleased for De Vries - he seemed to drop to the ground after the goal. I thought he was gonna cry! lol. There was a woman behind me who laughed her head off every time he got the ball! Bit of an Emille Heskey I admit but his goal was very well taken. So I'm guessing then that you must have come back with a bit of a tan this afternoon Geo if the players were just in front of you. Gets bloody hot down there so I've taken to sitting a bit further up. I'm sure this is just a blip for Watford Ovechkin. The way you started the game I thought we were in real trouble - that sort of play will undo the vast majority of teams in the Championship. There's more than enough quality to see you through.

He did look emotional, he was shouting something to the crowd after he scored...couldn't hear what though. His problem is he can't win the ball in the air, which is an issue given his size. But his first touch is good and he holds the ball up well...we need to play to his skills. Yeah I was in the kop so the sun was shining the other way (from behind) but yeah it was hot!

Was good to see Kaebi get a run out as well - funny after what u said the other day Geo.
I was a bit concerned about him, waiting all this time for him to come on then he gets a real heavy challenge in unnecessary stoppage time and doesn't get up in a hurry. Still at least it's match minutes for the lad. Did fairly well when he came on I thought, but it was all winding down by then.

Yeah I got it just right. ;D
When he first came on he got himself into a very offside position near the corner flag and I though omg who have we signed, does this man know the rules and how to play football!? But he did alright when he came on. Did you see him and Allen talking to the interpretor beforehand? ;D

I can just imagine that conversation - Allen asks "What's Iranian for get fucking in there?". Must be an odd dynamic in the dressing room. Apparently, Martin as started teaching him a few words. God only knows what Kaebi's English vocab must be like by now!

Got some Leicester fans staying round my house at the moment, chuffed to bits when I told them it was 1-0 then later said it was 3-0 and were even happier when I checked later it was 4-0. You'll beat Forest.
