Went to this game last season and it was rather disappointing, both in terms of the game and the turnout.
I'd expect a few more home fans earlier in the season so it'll be a tough place to go this afternoon. I'd settle for a draw, but more importantly to play better football than against Blackpool, and hopefully score!
New signings Clarke and Fulop will apparently be slotting straight into the squad today, with Kisnorbo returning from his ban meaning a new partnership of Kisnorbo and Clarke at the back presumably.

I thought Clarke was a left back. I think he'll go straight in but Kisnorbo might start from the bench.

I think you're right actually, though I'd rather not see Mattock or McAuley in the side today cos they were bloody shocking last week. Chambers overlapped really well on the wing and looked pretty solid at the back, but he's injured. As you say Geo as long as we can actually use our midfield rather than playing the panicky, aimless long ball up to Hume, I think we can probably get a result today.

Oh great, the Radio Leicester commentary team hasn't turned up at Selhurst Park yet. Yeah, I feel he may give McAuley another chance today. I guess we'll see, but a tough away game, I can see it being quite direct.

Team: Fulop, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo, McAuley, Clarke, Newton, Wesolowski, Clemence, Sheehan, de Vries, Campbell Bench: Chambers, Hume, Kishishev, Porter, Henderson. Not sure about that...whose going to play RB from N'Gotty, McAuley and Kisnorbo? Hume on the bench too. Not been too impressed with Campbell so far.

2-2 FT Bit annoyed, not a bad point in the scheme of things but we should NOT be conceding a fucking goal with less than a minute left when we'd worked so hard to get the lead. Still much work to be done.

Just got back, Would've taken a point before the game but I stupidly thought going into stoppage time that we would hold onto a lead for once..

Just got back, Would've taken a point before the game but I stupidly thought going into stoppage time that we would hold onto a lead for once.. Well it's always a shame to let the three points slip like that, but as you say we would've happily settled for scoring two goals away from home and getting a draw before the game. Friend of mine also went to the game and sounded really pissed off at the final whistle, said the free-kick was rather dubious but hard to tell from the highlights. One positive from the game; at least we've starting scoring from set pieces, even if it seems we can't defend them! Couldn't really understand why Hume didn't start - once he and Levi came on it seemed to change the game from what I've heard. Thanks btw Geo. I was trying to listen to the game yesterday on-line through PTV and couldn't work out why the feed was unavailable. Now I know why, bloody incompetence!

I'd have taken it before the game too and its probably what we deserved but doesn't stop you being disappointed to concede a last minute goal does it. I too think Hume should have started and I'm pleased Porter has been given a chance. He had a couple of duff games last year and has been cruelly left in the shadows when he is one of our only truly creative players. s'ok!
