Lots of rumours about this but I've just heard on 5live we have officially declared an interest in him. I suppose firstly he has to decide whether he is staying in England or moving to Australia. If the former, we probably have a good chance of signing him.
Don't think I'd want him though, we want hungry players willing to fight for their place - not people who have been there and may be content to sit with their pay packet. But if he's really up for the challenge then hell yeah! And he'd sell the season tickets.

Less likely now, RL say he is currently agreeing terms with Cardiff...perhaps they could offer him more dosh than us. Ahh well, can't say I'm too disappointed.

Wouldn´t be a bad signing IMO...pleased we´ve got Stephen Clemence though!

I think he'll want a lot of wages and we can probably get better value for money. But yeah Clemence and the Iranian guy Kaebi seem quality signings.

Would've been a good signing, if the club was prepared to meet his wages demands. Baring in mind he's arguably not good enough at PL level, the Championship is a good place for him to play out his career.

Yeah I'm sure he'd get some goals provided his attitude was there...least we'd get on sky once in a while! I heard Milan saying he may come here because its not all about money...perhaps he thinks we can offer him a quick route to the top flight.

Yes he will probably want alot of money but then again i believe he could still do a good job at this level if we got him fit.Hume´ll set ém up...Fowler/Cort will knock ém in!

would be a bad signing Don't necessarily disagree with ya! Robbo doesn't seem to have signed many players yet.

Fowler would be a waste of time - he'd be on BIG money and is passed it now!

True but you've lost Jags and Davis...big players. Yeah but Teddy Sheringham has rounded off his career nicely at various places. He can finish but I'd question his motivation like you say.
