Lol, sorry  Well we've survived almost going bust at least 2 or 3 times and narrowly missing out on the play offs last year  Lol, you won't stay there for long, there are a lot worser (is that a word?) teams in this division, it's early days yet! I'm just messin with ya, you love me really The league in 1992 last year before it became the Prem. the 60's eh... Any from the 30's/40's? Thats good stuff!! Hope they do well for you this year! Well I'm crap with technology aren't I!!  Worse would have done! On evidence I've seen so far there aren't!! Still things can only get better so thats something to look forward to!! Hmmm I know and yes love u really.  Well we have a very illustrious history!! 1937 - Champions of Div 2 1941 - Midland War Cup Winners - Champions of War League South 1949 - FA Cup Finalists 1954 - Champions of Division 2 1957 - Champions of Div 2 1961 - FA Cup finalists 1963 - FA Cup Finalists 1964 - League Cup Winners 1965 - League Cup finalists 1969 - FA Cup finalists 1971 - Champions of Div 2 - FA Charity Shield Winners 1980 - Champions of div 2 1997 - Coca Cola Cup winners 1999 - Worthington cup finalists 2000 - Worthington Cup winners See just makes you proud doesn't it!!  Am not too optimistic, we got rid of Andy *his boots are made for scoring* Bishop (conf top scorer last season) but have Clayton and Billy Mac has made some good signings. Oh come on, it's been like 2 matches! You don't win the league by Septmember. If you're like this ocme xmas, then you have licence to be worried!! Couple of FA cups, you seem to like the League cup mind!!! |

Well guess you'll have to budge up a bit then! Theres always room for more negativity!! It will be, pride of place in fact alongside the county level cups we win most years by beating the likes of Hinckley, Oadby, Shepshed Dynamo and Coalville Town!! See we are good really!! ;D Rite I shall be off ma dear coz I'm hungry! Nitey nite! Enjoy the footie, sleep well etc etc. Hopefully it won't be another month before I come online again!! xx |
