Mozz, it's very hard to say!! If the take-over rumours are true, then Paul Jewell is said to be lined up. That may seem to be a little deluded to those outside the club, but he's undoubtedly frustrated at Wigan, and the chance to manage a big club, with a good transfer budget (and Man City aside, no other vacancies look possibly imminent), then maybe their 'could' be truth in it. If the takeover talks amount to nothing but (a very strong) rumour, then it's hard to see who'd come. Maybe Gary Johnson if Bristol City don't come up would be a good call (if we could get him), Steve Tilson at Southend, Mike Newell may not stick around for much longer at Luton.....it's difficult really. I'm not sure McAllister would be suited to join us in League One, there'd be too much pressure for a novice. Unfortunately Mozz, I honestly don't even consider it an issue any more, as far as I'm concerned we ARE down. Tomorrow will be exactly one year since we won 2-1 at Palace, and that was the last time the side won consecutive games. Hell, we haven't gone 2 games unbeaten since the opening week of the season. Until we get a new owner and new manager then the downward spiral will continue. This week the murmurs have turned into very audible 'Wise out' and 'Get the Chelsea out of Leeds' chants, and I for one wholly agree. Trav, if Wise was to go, which I am doubtful about, who would you see as his ideal replacement?

Trav, if Wise was to go, which I am doubtful about, who would you see as his ideal replacement? McAllister was Coventry manager, but had to resign as his wife was very sick and subsequently died. He has love for the club, and could potentially do a good job, his thoughts on the game are thorough and erudite, he is an intelligent guy, so wouldn't be a bad option. Now Mike Newell would be a good option, even Paul Sturrock isn't a bad manager, just seems to get sacked for being Scottish LOL ;D
