From that bullshit website -
Andy Cole and Liam Rosenior will be unveiled to the Reading public and media in the next week.
Cole signs for 1 year on a free transfer from Portsmouth, and Rosenior on a 3 year deal for £1.5m from Lawrie Sanchez's long ball merchants FuLOLham.
Steve Coppell has been told he doesn't need to sell anyone, thus meaning Nicky Shorey and Leroy Lita will stay put for this season at least.
And finally, with Reading starting building work next summer to take the 24, 200 capacity of the Madejski Stadium to 38, 000 – The football club have also requested plans be drawn up to ultimately fill in the corners (which will resemble Arsenal's Emirates Stadium when finished) taking the capacity to a possible 41, 000 and plans to redesign the clubs 4 star hotel so the West Stand could be build back on, taking the final capacity to a possible 49, 000.

We do not need Cole we already have 4 perfectly good strikers! Rosenior fits into the type of player we buy perfectly and i will be very happy if we get him! ;D

I don't think we'll get anymore players which means our team is more or less the same as it was. Lost Sidwell and replaced him with Cisse and Fae who I think will be good but are unproven. We haven't strengthened the team though.

I'd be happy with that, although Fae can play on the right side. IMO our best 11 is this:
Hanaman - GK Shorey - LB Ingimarsen - CB Sonko- CB Murty - RB Hunt - LM Harper - CM Cisse - CM Fae - RM Doyle - CF Lita - CF

yeah mate that looks about rite.......although if you ask me bikey is going to be in the mix for the back 2 cause he has been quality in pre season. got to admit even though i do love inga, if we can iron some of the problems (like his dodgy attention span) out of bikey, having him and sonk at the back would be a seriously imposing partnership

More rumours of Shorey going to West Ham for £5mill. I don't think it'll happen, he's got 2 years left and we didn't let Siddy go when he had 1. Still, Teamtalk, Tribalfootball, Eatsleepsport and clubcallsports are all reporting it if you simply scroll down here: www.newsnow.co.uk/newsfeed/?name=Reading+FCA bit worrying, I'll be very unhappy if we let him go.

yeah mate been reading that drivel all morning......cant see him going anywhere until january at the Very earliest. and if he does go middle of this season its gonna be for a nicely inflated price at least.......still would rather see him stay though

I'm not sure £5mill would be enough to replace him.

If he does go it has to be for about £7m and then we must spend about £5m and replace him with someone decent. I'll be really pissed off if our club doesn't offer him a decent improved contract as any possible replacement who is good will want a top contract anyway.

I thought Shorey was more than happy at Reading. Decent full back but over rated at international level.
GIAR ,Lider Marmol is a Brazilian ( Paraguayan naturalised). Hard working central midfielder who can operate down both flanks. Had a trial at Coventry but was rejected by Dowie despite bagging soke goals for them pre-season.

From that shit site - Reading Fc Transfers Reading could ring the changes during the next two trasfer periods, to try and push on as a club and get into Europe. These are the deals that Coppell is looking at for January and next Summer: Out Leroy Lita – £5 million Brynjar Gunnarsson – £500 k Sam Sodje – £500 k John Halls – £750 k Graham Stack – £750 k Simon Cox – £500 k Nicky Shorey – £6.5 million In Victor Anichebe – £7 million Michael Mancienne – £1.5 million Matthew Taylor – £4 million Michael Kightly – £2 Andrew Surman – £1.5 million Lewis Stevenson – £1.5 million Federico Agliardi – £3.5 million Alan Hutton – £3 million Johan Djourou – £3 million These are the players that Coppell is watching to see if anything and there is someone he can sign. Not a rumour – but now officiall true Reading FC now nolonger owned by John Madejski. Sold to the owner of LA Galaxy. This will be announced at the game on Monday night. Exciting times ahead for The Royals. The owner is a big coppell fan (was a manu fan as a kid) and will spend big both for the team and to help with the stadium redevelopment.
