Rules is rules. If he doesn't have the right to reside then he should go. Just because he is a little well known should make no difference. so, they let him stay as a teenager, give him a national insurance number, let him pay his 40% tax and contribute to all of watfords 'commmunity projects' and charity commitments then tell him 12 days after the birth of his child (with an english mother - his girlfriend) that he must go home to a country where he is wanted dead?? I dont care if he's a footballer, or a £5.90 an hour cleaner - if they are contributing in a positive way to our country then they should be allowed to stay under a new rule called 'common fucking sense'! i actually agree with Cav. , even though you do make a good point.

If they are kicking him out so quickly, why did it take so long for us to get rid of that Abu Hamza bloke (tbh I dunno if he is still here or not). The reason why? We best not upset any paranoid Muslims now had we.....

I think it's unfortunate, and that comon sense should prevail. However rules are rules! There is provision for 'special cases' within the rules though. If "Role model for the black community, a man with a family here and a hard worker facing death upon return to his country," isn't a special case, I'd love to know what is!

But we cant deport scumbags like Learco Chindamo to Italy?? 'The Asylum and Immigration Tribunal ruled that deporting Learco Chindamo, currently serving life for Mr Lawrence's stabbing in 1995, to Italy would breach his human rights.'its a breach of my human rights to have convicted murderers living in our country! Bangura should be allowed to stay, settle with his girlfriend and child and continue to contribute to our society!

Scumbag is where he belongs now, and hopefully will be deported to America soon, where he will get some real justice!

You could argue everyone is a special case, we wouldn't know anythin about this if it where not for his foootballing credentials As others have pointed out above, though, there are plenty who should be well ahead of him in the queue - the guy Gres mentioned will probably even be released under an assumed identity and have special protection! (I've seen that suggested in several separate locations, and not one was a tabloid) I fail to see how that can be described as justice. And it's precisely because he's a footballer that he can be such a role model to young kids. He's left the worst ghetto area in Sierra Leone and gone and made a life for himself - if he can do it, why can't they do it too? He's precisely the sort of inspiration kids need.

If lacking in common sense is a quality required to work for the dpeartment of immigration, i'm gonna see if Mrs g can get a job there - decent pay, nice pension and 40 hours a week without having to apply logic to your job.....brilliant!
