This is your trad pub.No annoying musak or unruly kids. Raise a glass (or two) for KH. Watford win would be a nice double.

Hornets take striker on trial Wed, Dec 20 2006 11:40
Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd's search for a striker has led to him taking Polish international Marek Saganowski on trial at the club. Watford's loss of last season's top scorer Marlon King to injury in October has left them facing an up-hill battle to stay in the Premiership and the need to land a new front man is paramount.
Boothroyd has now moved to bring the Pole in on trial at the club for four days to see if he could fit the bill. He is contracted to Troyes but they are thought to be ready to sell the player in January if the right offer were to come in for the 28-year-old.
Boothroyd's search will go on and he has also been linked with moves for Robert Earnshaw, Billy Sharp, Freddie Eastwood, Heidar Helguson and Collins John.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rafik Djebbour has returned to Greece following an unsuccessful trial with Watford.
The 22-year-old striker has been training with the Premiership club for the last four weeks but failed to impress manager Adrian Boothroyd and did not earn a deal.
It seems The Hornets did not impress Djebbour either though, as reports in his homeland suggest he did not care much for their style of play.
Djebbour has now declared that he will not return to Atromitos Athens and will look for a new club instead.

Poor tiddums to Djebbour. ;D Dont know about this fellow. If he cant get a game for a struggling Troyes don't know if we'd want another Rasiak . Best to take a punt on Sharpe Fontaine etc guys who will be comfortable at the D2 level if we do go down & who have the potential to be Prem players. Those quoted are out of our price bracket the Duke Earnshaw etc would be sold at 2-3M. Hell we couldn't land McAnuff again according to the papers. Reckon AB would do well to ask Johnno for advice on any promising young Aussie kids or forge a relationship with an A-League club. Have a Guinness on the house Sea Of Yellow.
