Seems we Derby County are challenging u for Ceccilo Lopes
A tug of war seems to be developing between the Rams and The Hornets for Dutch Ace.
Cecilio lopes, top striker on the Rams list Late bids before next Wednesday's transfer window closure sees Derby County and Watford going for Dutch Second Division striker Cecilio Lopes.
Lopes who is 27 has been prolific this season and has a handsome total of 18 goals from 24 games so far.
Watford have bid for the striker in a desperate attempt to stay in the Premiership but it looks like the Rams could be in pole position to land the striker given their present position on top of the Championship.
Although Lopes will be a free agent at the end of this season, the Rams are likely to table a bid of around £200,000 to secure his services in the push for promotion from the Championship.

Watford have been linked to Scunthorpe left-back Marcus Williams.
The Hornets, along with Premiership rivals Reading, Wigan and Tottenham, have all been tracking the 20-year-old in recent weeks following rave reviews about his performances for the League One leaders. Williams made his debut aged just 17 and has been quickly identified by the big clubs as a potential future star because of his pace and athleticism.
Scunthorpe hope to hold onto the youngster if they go up, but he could command a transfer fee over £500,000 if a bidding war breaks out between Premiership clubs.

JARRETT JOINS MK DONS
WATFORD wide-man Albert Jarrett has today (Wednesday) joined MK Dons on emergency loan until the end of the season.
&
Watford midfielder Anthony McNamee has joined Crewe on loan until the end of the season.
Both good moves imo, gets them some first team experience ahead of next season.

Blizzard has been instrumental in Countys unbeaten run. Perhaps he found his level. Dont need Jarrett either. McNamee as a squad shock player.
Pension off Mahon as a squad player & let Francis Rinaldi Williams & Bangura occupy the spots with Gill as a reserve.

100% agree with you!
Looking forward to seeing Bang Bang in the team more next season, with some key improvements (passing) he has the potential to be a special player imo.

Hallo squire. It would be a more mobile midfield & one with invention than we currently have. Throw in Parkes & Robinson(Theo) with King & Priskin in a withdrawn role free to float round the box I think we could certainly make the playoffs as the Championship is no great shakes quality wise. Maybe pinch Sharp (Keogh has been doing wonders at the Wolves)in the summer plus another full back(Parkes to replace Doyley & in time Stewart). Lee is more than capable of filling Fosters shoes & young Loach is an excellent prospect. Everything is looking rosy as it can be plus another million in revenue from the semi final appearance & who knows a final spot !

Man Utd may send Foster back to Watford
Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster may return on loan next season if he cannot break into the Manchester United first team.
The goalkeeper has been told that he can go on loan for a third season if he has not become a first-team regular after four months of next season, says The Times.

Really United should sell him on to us for two million. As for this Francis nonsense you're winding me up right GB ;D I think he'd do better if Mahon wasn't dragging him back all the time. Time for baldy to head for pastures new methinks.

Apparently Burkinshaw has been in Argentina over the last month & being advised by Ricky Villa on young players we may be signing over the summer.
Of course we wont get a Belluschi or Cardozo but a player like Federico Higuain could do us a job as a forward for instance.
