Ball tampering isnt it? Umpires might award us the test if they refuse to come out! BBC Sport says they 'look to have forfeited the game', Pakistan were accussed of cheating after their was stracthing on the ball and Umar Gul was getting reverse swing. England win series 3-0 then!

News on BBC - Pakistan forfeit! Not yet. But if the umpires feel they are refusing to play then they can award England the game

This is going to run and run.....and might end up being very significant in future events.
I wonder now if they might take this further by pulling out the one dayers?

That's what I'm thinking Hulsey Hmmm yeah i know what you mean. They obviously feel they haven't cheated and are making a point of it. Is there any proof to start with?

Possible sanctions for Pakistan later on? ICC involved?

Possible sanctions for Pakistan later on? ICC involved? What they are doing is wrong but have they actually cheated?

Possible sanctions for Pakistan later on? ICC involved? What they are doing is wrong but have they actually cheated? Umpires wouldent have awarded the 5 runs otherwise, in their opinions they have. Evidence must have been there for that to have taken place! The sudden reverse swing from nothing was suspicious as well!

In the Umar Gul over, the ball suddenly started reverse swinging. Darrel Hair had a look at the ball and there was a scuff with a stracth in it, which would help the ball swing. I've seen nothing, and I think Pakistan feel cheated.

first ever test match likely to be forfieted... If that's true, then it's not the greatest of ways to win 3-0

Well until their is conclusive proof they cheated, i reserve the right to make a judgement....if it was the other way round, and the Aussies had a go at us and the proof was minimal, we'd be angry

Either way, I can see this dragging on for a long time....

Obviously scared of our batsmen! They've been accussed of cheating. Hang on, something's happening the ball was replaced in the 53 rd over, as the umpires thought that pakistan players have tampered with the ball, and were given a five run penalty and england batsman were given the choice of new ball. pakistan are complaining because i think they wasnt warned. just given a direct penalty
