Burton Albion can win promotion the the football league tonight IF they avoid defeat at home to Oxford. Would be great to have another local side to me in the league, and they have a cracking little ground all set for league football. COME ON YOU BREWERS!!

Albion battered Oxford tonight - Oxford had 3 shots and got away with a smash and grab.
cambridge need to win both remaining games, Burton need to lose at Torquay and cambridge need to make up a 5 goal deficit in goal difference (6 goals when you consider Burton have scored more)

Burton have a superior GD and will go up. They nearly had a bad case of Brewers droop but have just managed to get there. Credit Cloughie junior and McFarland for their sterling work and their backroom team. Great news for Derbyshire football as a whole. Congratulations.

Roy Mac has done nothing but nearly fuck it up - he wont be in charge next season. Oh...and Burton is in Staffordshire!

You're right Gres. Thinking of Buxton. I need to have my brain scanned. Possible early signs of dementure methinks.
