anyone see that with the young girl?
Perils of live tv I guess. Poor girl. She was singing so well.
Does make you think these programmes can be almost sadistic putting young children on live tv in front of over 13 million people, and a big live audience, expecting them to perform and then face the judges etc. A bit like when Shaheen went through against that dance group and was crying because he'd made friends with people from their group and shared their disappointment.
Still well done for Simon Cowell overwriting the producers of the show and saying they'll find the time to let her have another go.

I don't watch it, but again, people came talking to me about it, so I looked it up out of curiosity. Full credit to everyone in the building except the producer there; Ant and Dec were great comforting her, I was dead pleased to see the crowd tried to cheer her on through it and after it, and Simon's just totally ruined his 'nasty man' image! A surprisingly pleasant dose of humanity there!

Oh bless, though I'm still very cynical.
At least when she went off, Messrs McPartlin and Donnelly weren't tempted to have a crack at this for our pleasure...
