Wolves will still be without top scorers Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Chris Iwelumo as they continue their Championship promotion push at Derby on Monday.
But boss Mick McCarthy hasn't yet ruled out Big Chris featuring again this season.
Sylvan will not be recovered in time for the trip to Pride Park as a result of the hamstring injury picked up in training last weekend.
And as Chris is continues his rehabilitation from the knee injury sustained as a result of Lee Carsley's challenge in the derby defeat at Birmingham, Mick is keeping an open mind as to his chances of playing again during the current campaign.
"Sylvan and Chris won't be fit for Monday but Matt Jarvis got through the game and he's fine," said Mick.
"I'll have the same squad I had yesterday - there won't be anyone else coming back.
"We'll hope and see if Chris is fit before the end of the season.
"There are three weeks left and he's got retanacular damage which apparently keeps all the ligaments together.
"He's got medial ligament damage and bone bruising, but he's a million miles better than we thought he would be.
"I live in 'hopeful street' so let's see if he will be (fit).
"Of course he's an absolute doubt when you see the tackle - it's amazing that he's got any chance."
Mick meanwhile is expecting nothing less than another tough test against a Derby team away at Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon.
The Rams' recently-appointed boss Nigel Clough was at Molineux for yesterday's Wolves' win against Southampton, and even ahead of this afternoon's game Derby are close to securing their Championship status for another season.
And they have only lost one of their last eight at Pride Park, and that to Manchester United in the FA Cup.
"I think Derby is a difficult place to play," says Mick.
"It really is a terrific club with fabulous support - they're the best supported club in the division without doubt.
"So because it's the top of the table team going there, they'll be buoyed by it and want to knock the smile off our faces.
"They will be inspired and motivated by that.
"I don't know any footballers who don't want to win and they will certainly want to beat us on Monday."

Should be a decent game but with our shambles of a back 4 i cant see us beating you. I'd take a point, but i feel we'll be lucky to get that - our players looked incredibly 'leggy' at Sheff Wednesday yesterday, and with another game within 48 hours it doesnt look good. will be a sell out though. My prediction is a 2-0 win for you.

I was thinking that should keep the overall goals against to a respectable level.

Its a good thing you won on Saturday, otherwise this would have been a right scrap.
If Derby can defend set pieces, i think they'll put up some strong resistance. We might sneak it by the odd goal, i'll take another 1-0 for sure.

Wolves must continue the next leg of their Premier League promotion push without 40-goal strikeforce Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Chris Iwelumo.
Ebanks-Blake has been ruled out of Monday’s trip to Derby, with the hamstring injury that has kept him out of the last two games.
Boss Mick McCarthy had hoped the Championship’s 24-goal top scorer would be fit for the Pride Park trip, after missing the 3-0 win over Southampton.
But the 23-year-old hit-man will again be under treatment, as hopes for his return in next Saturday’s home clash with QPR.
Iwelumo, who was injured in last Monday’s defeat at Birmingham, is a major doubt for the last four games.
McCarthy said: “Sylvan and Chris won’t be fit. I’ll have the same squad I had before Southampton – there won’t be anyone else coming back.
“We’ll hope and see if Chris is fit. There are three weeks left of the season and he’s got retinacular damage, which apparently keeps all the ligaments together.
“He’s got medial ligament damage and bone bruising, but he’s a million miles better than we thought he would be.
“I live in ‘hopeful street’ so let’s see if he’ll be fit.
“Of course, he’s an absolute doubt when you see it the tackle – it’s amazing that he’s got any chance.”
McCarthy instead backed his ‘shadow’ strikeforce of Sam Vokes – who broke the deadlock after 39 seconds against the club he supported – and Andy Keogh, on a day when Marlon Harewood came off the bench.
The manager said: “Keogh and Vokes are a good partnership. They played so well together at Birmingham in the FA Cup and whenever they’ve played individually, they’ve played well.
“Whenever Sam has come in, he’s done what’s been required and he’s a great young fellow.
“He works his socks off but Terry (Connor, assistant boss) is a great coach and has improved him a great deal.
“But he’s been kept out by a 40-goal strikeforce. It’s not like he could come banging on my door or chipping away at me, because Chris and Sylvan have kept him out.
“Sam has done well in the way he’s been asked to play.”
One plus for McCarthy yesterday was the return to the line-up of winger Matt Jarvis, who made his first start since February 22.
The boss added; “Jarvis got through the game and he’s fine.”

With your win on Saturday, you're almost safe now, so i expect you'll play with a little less pressure as you're not expected to beat the league leaders after the season you've had. I hope you're right mind you.
