Apparently, in the last 100 games in La Liga there's been only 1 0-0!! Who needs a defence

Barcelona ? Victor Valdes makes EL Pato look competent.

Barcelona ? Victor Valdes makes EL Pato look competent. Was a rhetorical question! One of the great things about La Liga is it's shocking defending! I love it, some amazing games this season, one of the best seasons in recent times imo.

I vote we relocate Watford into La Liga ,Liam. Nice away trips and our defence would feel right at home. ;D

Well that is going to work out is it now Mort. Its Broons fault. It'd be more expensive for us to play there than against Plymouth say. Perhaps not such a great idea after all (even if the FA allowed us). Mind you we'd win the Segunda at a canter.

Liverpool purveyors of the beautiful game ? Ten men behind the ball at the Bernebeau and again ready to hit on the break last night. They are a dreadul advert for attacking football. Then they complain when Stoke go to Anfield and do the same and strangely they cannot score. Barca ,Atletico and Villareal will do the business. I don't know why anyone outside of the supporters of those four clubs should want them to suceed anyway. It only makes them wealthier and further monpolises their stranglehold on the Premiershite. Come on Internazionale and Roma.

5-0 is hardly that defensive, they ripped real to pieces inside the first 20 minutes at anfield. real were only saved from a sporting lisbon style drubbing by their goalie. ... their money trickles down to us eventually

Liverpool were qite attacking and caught Real off guard by it who probably expected the ten men behind the ball approach. That money never trickles down except into agents and players pockets and a few overpaid chief executives. Tis a disgrace to the football family.

la liga you're havin' a larf Liverpool 4 - 0 Real Madrid (agg:5-0) Haha! In fairness it's a bit of a fable that Real are a scalp in Europe anymore, Liverpool are more of one. They have not gone past the first knockout stage in six years. This Real side is much weaker than the past two title winning ones - severe lack of creativity, pace, width and a clinical finisher (with RVN injured). Liverpool did a real European job! Barcelona are currently beating Lyon 4-1 and the second half just starting as I type this. Barca's three strikers have 76 goals between them this season.

Real will be back once they get a defence infront of Casillas.
Messi Eto Xavi and Iniesta will dismantle the opposition. ;D
Hope its Liverpool v Arsenal and Manchester v Chelsea. These clubs are already throttling the life out of the Premiershite.
