No it's a good job the ITV have the Championship. The BBC wouldn't approve. ;D Good point. And thinking about it; should the song's content suddenly becoming interesting, they could always cut to an impromptu commercial break anyway. Tic Tac anyone ;D That was well annoying. The match had been so dull and I endured it right to the end for that to happen. Glad I'm not a Merseysider. Not because of the football just because I don't wanna be scouse. ;D

It was the most exciting element of an incredibly turgid game of football! I was started flicking through a magazine early in the second half and the unscheduled ad break was the first incident to prompt me to shift my gaze......up in Leeds though, coverage resumed in time for the goal. Being Scouse is an apalling affliction; a greater vocal handicap than even a Geordie, and as likely to be shot as a Manc! ;D

Not because of the football just because I don't wanna be scouse. ;D ...... yes but there was a time when you'd have happily gone to work for Everton FC, and at which point you'd have been living and working amongst them, slowly becoming a little more scouse each day!!

ignoring the shoddiness of the match (i thought i'd gone into a coma), and the result, wasn't it nice to see a derby actually contested largely by players from the local area or from the clubs youth systems?
and argueably since we needed a more physicial presence on the pitch, we probably should have given Walker and Robertson a game - both of whom are from Sheffield.

...You'd have won 3 out of the last 4 Sheffield derbies and possibly in the top 2 Ah, but if we still had Warnock we wouldn't even have had to play against Wednesday this season, because we would have gone back up last season!

He has become Neil Warnock though ...... with the mind games before hand ......... and the snappy post match soundbites!! ....... worryingly though I think this makes Blackwell, ...... Peter Eustace!! How very dare you compare Brian to that man! Ahhh Useless Eustace, now there was a man without a clue. ;D I think there are some quite striking similarities between the two. Laws doesn't go out of his way to rub people up the wrong way like Warnock, but he has come out with a few clangers - like the Mourinho comparison. But, their similarities are really in the way they carry out their jobs as manager. They can build sides on a very tight budget and really get them playing together as a team. That team spirit was very evident on Saturday. And all the players play for each other. There are no big stars or egoes.
