Bad news from Hereford: 54mins - The on-loan Wolves keeper is carried from the field, to ringing applause from the home support. 52mins - Murray kicks the ball clear and immiediatlely collapses to the floor in agony. It appears he has suffered a recurrence of his ongoing injury problems throughout his career. The stretcher is on and the stadium is silent. 51mins - Hereford fail to clear their lines, allowing Navarro to clip in a cross that Murray claims with authority.

Haven't bet on Wolves all season, but put a pound on tonight.
Iwelumo first goalscorer, wolves to win 3-1.
Come on me babies, keep it at 3-1! ;D

Complete smash and grab, but who cares. last year we would have lost this by 3-1 because we couldn't score. Just need to lick the wounds before Saturday now though. Ikeme, Jones, Edwards and Murray (at Hereford game) all injured tonight and doubts for Saturday

Is Kightly injury confirmed broken nose or just a knock? I heard it bled a lot.

Chris Iwelumo scored twice as Wolves saw off Sheffield United in a thrilling game to stay six points clear at the top of the Championship.
Iwelumo fired Wolves in front from a tight angle after a frenetic opening.
Brian Howard appeared to have levelled direct from a corner but the ball was adjudged not to have crossed the line.
Instead, Iwelumo made it 2-0 from Karl Henry's cross and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake smashed home a third goal before Matt Spring replied with a neat finish.

Sheffield United assistant manager Sam Ellis on being denied an equaliser:
"It was in - there's no doubt about it. It was over the line. We've seen a replay, and it's over the line.
"At 1-0 that makes it a different game. So as far as we are concerned, luck hasn't gone our way - and that happens.
"We felt we played our part in the game, and it was maybe hesitancy on our part (for the first goal); then maybe it was a decision that was out of our control that sent the game the way it did."
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy:
"It was nice to get the seventh win but it was maybe a bit unexpected here.
"We knew it was going to be a tough game and that was the case.
"It was fast and furious, and a real aerial battle, and while they had chances I thought we defended against it really well.
"It was like the Somme out there with three of them carted off but then at the other end we've had some real quality finishes."
