Its not bollocks at all. its very common. My dad and sister are blades, my mums an owl. No one else in my mums family supports either Sheffield team. My dad's dad is an owl (although he has a history of going to United matches) but two of his brothers are/were blades. i think the other 4 or 3 are/were owls. And going into even more distant family there is a similar mix

I have no Owls fans in the family. However I'm the only Sheff Utd fan, as my mum is a Bristol City fan, my dad supports 'dirty Leeds' and my sister supports Rovrum. We each support the team we consider to be from our home town, which I think is what you should do!!
