Its a right royal f**k up at the Vic. We could be going the same way as our deadly rivals Luton if we are not careful. The mystery is where is the money ? There is talk of new investors inc. former board members the Russo Brothers , Elton himself and either a Hungarian or Ukrainian businessman though seeing the plight of Hungary at present how realistic that is is unknown. If we are so short of funds as our beloved dictator Simpson says , then how they have managed to provide Boothy with a severance package which will be substantial and the numerous backroom staff is mystifying. And who has the idiot lined up should we be taken over ? A new consortium would like to have their own man in no doubt. We certainly cannot have a high profile manager .Some of the names being bandied about ie Allardyce etc is just sheer nonsense. I guess it will be a man with Watford connections just to placate the fans perhaps with Nigel Gibbs as assistant coach and the likes of Luther Blissett with the youth set up. I feel a bit for Aidy .After all he got us up out of nowhere but then proceeded to cock up in the transfer market ,wasting resources , fell out with Burkinshaw and other coaches but fair play to him has turned the playing style right round, Had he actually anaged to get the defence sorted out we'd be right up there. I sincerely hope this is not a prelude to Hitler Simpson and Stalin Ashton trying to sell off players on the cheap in Januay to recoup their own monies. I have no doubt Aidy must have been fed up of not being able to sign who we needed ie Bamba in defence or other loans .Bust up with Simpson and its all over. Aidy will make a great number two for some team in the top flight I have no doubt but his ego is such that he would want to manage again when it might be better for him to cool his heels awhile and learn some more. After all he is quite young. The decision is waited with bated breath as a pall of dark black cloud hangs over the ground tonight. Just jope we get the right man (someone like Newell or Adkins or Peter Taylor perhaps) with Gibbo as assistant. The silver lining is the youth set up. Some cracking kids coming through. I ust jop thatthe financial turmoil does not mean they will be sold on the cheap after a short stay at the club. 'The King Is Dead, Long Live The King'.

Sumfin ?? Yes apparently that is the sum Mort . But the source is The Sun so be careful. He will get a decent payoff as is the way nowadays. Where we can find the money for tis but not for a loan signing or too is a mystery. Android we will not go for Pardew by any shot or any big name as we cannot afford to. Most likely it will be a former Watford man. Jackett is being linked so watch out Hurlock, mizen et al. Also Gibbo may be recalled from Reading however considering the acrimonious departure he had , thanks to Mr.Nice Guy Simpson it is a doubt. The rumours are Betty will be next seen in the City Ground dugout. That ones for Tom. Calderwoods days apparently are numbered. Reason for Boothy going apparently is a bust up with GS. Either: 1.lack of funds for a loanee 2.he was told Smith & O'Toole are leaving in January and having had other players sold without his consent he had enough. Mind you he did put us in this situation to an extent by wasting money on Ellington , Jackson etc.

By the way here are some of Aidys quotes. He certainly is no great orator judging from these. www.saidwhat.co.uk/quotes/sport/aidy_boothroyd Quote of the Day | Puzzles | Quotes by Aidy Boothroyd I will be prudent and careful - and not just because I'm a Yorkshireman [on getting into the Premiership] Aidy Boothroyd quote At the moment, things are not going for us, and we would probably need a dog to run on the pitch to head it into the net for us Aidy Boothroyd quote If it was a boxing match it would be Muhammad Ali against Jimmy Krankie Aidy Boothroyd quote I've built a large Danny Shittu-sized snowman ?

To put it bluntly... we're fucked. Not so. We've come back from adversity .Just need two things: 1. a new buyer .. hurry up Elton 2.sort the defence out When you look at the top sic in the Championship we have played five of them. Wolves should have won. Reading fair draw, Burnley should have drawn, Cardiff gifted away two points and the Blades a draw too. But we need the buyer now. All this indecision and lack of clarity off the pitch will srew up the players for sure. You know what usually happens .. they can't be bothered start looking for a move etc etc until a new man comes in. And it had better be a decent one otherwise the players wont be happy. Playoffs still in reach but very much depends on January. To lose home grown players like O'Toole and Smith would make it worse.

out of that list, if i was a hornet (buzz buzz), i'd want curbishley, on the basis of what he achieved with charlton

Hornetgags said Curbs has refused the Terry Challis of Death. Don't blame him or rate him. With mogadon in charge we'll be down faster than an ore carrier in a tempest. "Tactics ?", yells Mackay. "What are they ?"
