To go back to Lauras original point, about loaded footballers claiming MORE money, then i agree - what a set of wankers. The fans will be trying to sue West Ham next, blaming them for having to watch sub standard football for the last 2 seasons and having to have Blackwell as manager. ;D I do think that Sheff Utd put themselves in this position by losing a shed load of games at the back end of the season though!

Thank you Michael, man of sense ;D *puts on tin hat* .....they know it's true as well, but they're in denial ;D Thing is if they had stayed up they would have been fighting with you lot for record bottom points, so is 30 million too much for 1 season's compensation?

To go back to Lauras original point, about loaded footballers claiming MORE money, then i agree - what a set of wankers. The fans will be trying to sue West Ham next, blaming them for having to watch sub standard football for the last 2 seasons and having to have Blackwell as manager. ;D I do think that Sheff Utd put themselves in this position by losing a shed load of games at the back end of the season though! It would seem that as with many of the rumours surrounding this case, the story of players suing is inaccurate. As for losing a lot of games at the end of that season - yes, we did. But it doesn't alter the fact that only 19 clubs were playing by the rules. One club didn't and gained an unfair advantage. If Tevez wasn't absolutely vital to West Ham's survival chances, why on earth would the club officials go to such lengths and take such enourmous risks to ensure he played for them? Having got caught out once you'd have thought they'd have then stuck to the rules. But they didn't. Even after the premier league dished out their fine, it seems West Ham continued to break the rules in exactly the same way. If people are honest, I think they would accept that if this happened to their club, they would be just as outraged as we have been. For what it's worth, rather than see us benefit financially or otherwise, I would prefer to see West Ham dealt with justly. That means a fine to the value of the financial gain that they have received so far, and a points deduction. I feel that should be equal to the total number of points they gained when Tevez was in their team.

As soon as we were promoted people were saying that we'd beat Sunderland's record low points total. They were proved emphatically wrong on that one.

........ and so say a panel of three wise men who know much more than all of us!! ........ ker-ching!! ;D ....have you noticed how all the poor people taking their shots at united go silent when you point of the injustice of the original situation.... short memories from petty minds. Well effectively every panel has found in our favour, which is something people seem to forget. So the fact that Wet Sham broke the rules isn't in doubt. The only thing that was really up for debate was the severity of the punishment. The first panel obviously found them guilty and fined them £5.5 million. Even though club from lower divsions who have been found guilty of breaking transfer/registration rules have all lost points or been kicked out of the competition they were playing in. The second agreed that the first panels decision was wrong and if they had made the decision, that they'd have deducted points. However there was no point in law by which they could overturn the decision The third panel sat and have again found against the Spam. Yet we going to have to wait again to get this sorted. West Ham are asking us to agree to go to the European court of arbitration for sport, which we don't have to as we've won. Where in any of this have West Ham acted with any duty of responsibility to us or Wigan, Middlesborough or anyone else. All of their action have been designed to deceive or cover up their actions ............ so fuck em!!

DUMBASS ALERT! DUMBASS ALERT! Hello Mortycakes. How does it feel to be currently inferior in the league to a poor neglected team? We take comfort from the fact the currently you are over peforming as a team. We on the other hand are massively under performing, and yet we're still just a single point behind. You'll dip and we'll hit form and some point, at which point normal service will be resumed!! ;D
