Getting rid of the 10% tax ban is something I would have expected Thatcher to do. But no you seek to further alienate yourselves from your core voters.
Keep up the good work as you won't get relected.

Where indeed?! British politics have become totally skewed, never thought I'd see Cameron on the morning news saying "we must help the poor!"

Brown is the master of giving something and taking it away elsewhere, and this effects the retired as well! Darling has basically said I've done this and it won't be changed!

Ah yes.... thank you for that clarification, Comrade A2V! Are we sure he didn't mean: "We must dress in red jackets and hunt the poor down on horseback?!"

Ah Blairist spin, very good A2V! Blair fucked the unions, and Brown will do the same to the poor! Ahh, you misunderstand me comrade Hurls. I'm not saying that Brown and Blair are any good. More than Cameron's (& others) engaged in the politics of opposition, looking to drive the knife into the cracks as they appear. However I sincerely believe Cameron would be no better, and many of the Labour edicts they promised to change once in power. Would be left in place by whoever came into power.

Hopefully next week they'll scrap the higher tax band ;D I don't think Labour actually stand for anything any more. There's no policy they'll stand by and no bridge they won't double cross when they get to it. I'd vote socialist worker, but it's a vote wasted and I don't think I'm quite militant enough!! However I think anyone expecting better from the next party voted in, will be in for massive disappointment!!

Time will tell, and the credit crunch due to sub prime lending is going to be tough. It will be interesting to see what the banks do with the lifeline they're being offered. But we're paying for their mistakes/greed

However I think anyone expecting better from the next party voted in, will be in for massive disappointment!! The Party stands for something, but many of its remaining rump of members are labouring (excuse pun) under a collective self-delusion as the majority of the Parliamentary party and a number of activists steer a course which is tragically ill-conceived, a classic example of wanting power for the sake of having power. I wouldn't recommend the Socialist Worker Party... they are headcases, pure and simple! Plus as the song goes... There was one Trot faction sitting in a hall, One Trot faction, sitting in a hall And if that Trot faction should have a nasty brawl There'd be two Trot factions sitting in a hall! <continues ad nauseam>

........ and I though your mantra was 'greed is good'!! I don't think you should confuse that with ambition mate, furthermore I have mellowed a bit since becoming a father! But that in some ways makes me more determined to close deals and increase sales, thats not hurting anyone - thats looking after my own. Solvent is good ;D
