aye it was a good ressult for accrington, but the accrington manager was moaning that it was a poor performance from his side,dont say much for forsets performance

amazed me how they keep reporting the game as accrington beating former european cup winners, fook that was 25 years ago now, the side is all retired and managing dodgy sides, and the manager and back room staff a lot of them are dead. thats like saying when someone beats southampton, they are beating former FA CUP WINNERS .

now i remember . the full members cup, a cup comp for top 2 divison teams, we once made the final when it was the zenith data comp... we lost to forest. thats another label they could have stuck on forest ;D

The European Cup is deemed to be a bit more illustrious, hence why the media (and a section of our fans) keep mentioning it in relation to us.

Think we were in fact the last team to win that, bit of a pointless exercise that cup but it was a day out at Wembley and I'd love to see us performing on such a stage again. I'll not hold my breath though...
