Must admit, I would probably prefer The Royals.

It's certainly in better shape then their cross city neighbour's abode!
Mind you, our 'main stand' is nothing to shout about - one small wave from the Trent and it will be matchsticks

I genuinely do not particularly like any of the new stadia that I have been to, although I would hasten to add that your's is not the worst, and is somewhat better than Elm Park was! And I appreciate that to develop as a club you almost certainly had to have a new stadium, but it has to be said that on it's day, Elm Park did generate an atmosphere that was very different from The Madejski. It's all personal opinion, but I find that although new stadia tend to give good views, and a more comfortable seating position, they do lack atmosphere. Most have an almost indoor, echoey feel to them, and the whole of the ground looks the same. Also they tend to all look similar to each other. Maybe they just need to weather in a bit. Pride Park seems better than most, possibly because it is a bit older? I will say this quietly, but I even prefer Hillsborough to The Madejski for having the real feel of a football stadium and being capable of generating a really intense atmosphere. On a larger scale I much prefer Old Trafford to The Millenium stadium.
