anyone see the irony by insulting a country by calling them ''racist eastern european c-unts''.....i dont condone burning of flags etc...but neither do i condone the whistling/booing of national anthems and the shit that english fans do.... its all swings and roundabouts....we're a marked country in a lot of peoples eyes....and its because of our unjust belief in our superiority mostly...we just have to win games on the pitchj and show them wrong

Hae an exalt mate. It was a disgrace to see them burning an England flag and racist abuse is one thing that really sickens me. However, no one has any right whatsoever to boo a National Anthem either. To be honest, despite football being my favourite sport, we could really learn something from rugby fans. They're capable of going to matches having had more beers than they'll care to remember the next morning, yet to still sit in mixed stands and sing together and exchange a laugh. Maybe we should pay clsoer attention to that.

i'd like to point out, our anthem gets booed and as proven on numerous occasions in europe, our fans get attacked! to say we should act better than others, by not booing anthems is purely down to a "unjust belief in our superiority mostly".
Booing an anthem, in the end, simply makes an atmos., yer morally its wrong as its disrespectful, but really respect doesn't come into it!

Yes, our anthem gets booed. Yes, our fans get attacked. Yes the Macedonian fans burnt an England flag, Yes, our black players always seem to suffer racist abuse. But that still DOES NOT give us the right to boo other anthems, cause trouble at away matches (it can't be always the opponents who kick things off). I seem to remember reports of when Turkey came to Sunderland, their players suffered abuse, the coach was attacked (I think), our fans invaded the pitch after Vassell scored. Do we really have any right to criticise others after actions like that?
Sorry for the rant guys, but that's my opinions. I cannot, and will never, condone racist action, and that includes booing the National Anthem

Quick question. Hampden Park holds 52,000 people. so how then was yesterday's capacity between Scotland & France 57,000? I dont think anyone was standing up!

We should rise above it.
