Your strip looks a bit plain this year. We are playing football, not enterting a fashion show.

Not to outdo your coolness, but surely thats Latin for 'Homesteads'? I'm suitably impressed Smurf! I looked it up to be sure... "Oppidum (plural oppida) is a Latin word meaning the main settlement in any administrative area" - which tends to connote "town" or indeed "city" but it can mean hillfort (esp in Iron Age UK context) and citadel too.

It was great fun though, especially with a great lecturer

Your strip looks a bit plain this year. It's a football shirt! It is not a costume for come dancing! What did you expect? Two tone blue sleeves and sequins with long frilly arm sleeves? Christ, Lawrence loo-ellen Bowen is a leicester supporter!
