That would have been one VERY long journey home. Well, you're right on that score....to lose comprehensively to Leeds last season was almost unthinkable for any side! ;D

I did every away game, thinking I should really make the most of our one season at this level. And I can safely say Leeds away was the joint-worst day of the season. Rotten weather, no friendly pub near the ground, rubbish performance on the pitch.
Lua-Lua's cousin Mr Kandol seems to be doing the job for you this season though!

It wasn't much better for home fans last season to be honest! Though I'm surprised if you had any problems in The Peacock. I seem to be picking the away games quite well this season; Forest and Oldham, late goals and pandemonium in the away end! I know, and I think it's shocked every Leeds fan down to the core. Last season he was a lazy b**tard, with no will to fight, he was easily knocked off the ball, and couldn't score for toffee. This season he wins every header, shows pace, control, aggression, and the guy can actually finish!!

Norwich isn't home You know full well to whom I was referring... Alexander couldn't catch a cold... Unfortunately I do, however I sense mid-table once again for us lot. As with Norwich and Colchester.

Yep, I won't pretend for a second that I expect us to have as good a season as last time, I really don't! I'd be happy with mid-table obscurity so we are still in this league when our new ground opens in the summer.

It's a shame you're getting rid of Layer Road, I quite like that ground. I went to watch Col U play Hartlepool (way back, my whole family came because my dad's cousin managed Hartlepool then), and it was a nice place. I don't really feel much in the terms of hatred towards Colchester. Not really smart, since you're closer to us than Norwich, just to me doesn't seem too much of a club I can really dislike.
