This competition always throws a lot up (believe me, I'm used to them). Aside from Forest, something like 11 Championship sides went out to lower leaguers and with some Premiership clubs coming there is a chance for fresh upsets.
I can see the following clubs going out to lower league opposition
Hull (vs Hartlepool) Norwich (vs Rotherham) QPR (vs Port Vale) Derby (vs Doncaster) Man City (vs Chesterfield) Fulham (vs Wycombe) Leicester (vs Hereford)
Anybody agree or reckon there could be others?

I can actually see us beating Southampton/Poland tonight.
For the first time in about 2 years...I'm not sure if i can really be bothered to go.
I'm sure I will change my mind come 6 pm, giving me enough time to get to the ground!

Messers: Pearce, Coleman and Southgate should today hang their heads in shame.
Realistically they are not going to finnish top six: so their only chance to qualify for Europe is through one of the cup competitions. Playing weakened sides against lower league opposition who are 'up for it' is a recipe for disaster.
take a leaf out of Martin O'Neills book lads and learn.
muppets!

I went to the Fulham-Wycombe game last night as my mate got us a couple of cheap tickets.
Wycombe were fookin outstanding, totally embarrased fulham at times.
Fans are amazing too, good 1k of them there, didnt stop singing all game.
I love clubs like wycombe and it just goes to prove football isnt always about being a so-called 'big' club with millions to spend.

One thing I do like about the lower leagues is you get the proper fans. Not the plastic lot you get in the premiership who just go to watch good football. Obviously, not all fans of premiership clubs are plastic fans but there are more than enough.
