Outstanding means very good in this poll. unless someone's outstandingly bad? Well I would have written that after it if I'd meant 'oustanding' to mean bad

SHIT! The referee's fucking hate Luton and im sick of it. What about that one on Saturday? I thought he'd given us a penalty, then he changed his mind and gives us a corner. Mind you, that ref's a bit crap, he always seems to make rubbish decisions which just happen to be against Ipswich... even your boss said so... that was basically the only decision he got wrong against you. He may as well have been wearing a blue shirt apart from that. Pathetic!

We could just argue about this all evening and never get it sorted, resulting in both of us getting annoyed.
Plus I can't be bothered, so I guess you win this round

IMO you can't criticise the referee, its already hard to referee a game and it keeps getting even harder.....

Agreed Jimbo, if players stopped diving, confronting and swearing at the ref at every opportunity it might help, why the fuck the FA don't take a leaf out of Rugby Union's book baffles me. It would mean alot of bookings/sending offs to start with but the players would eventually get the message even Lee Bowyer.

I've said fairly bad, we've had some right shockers for us. Yesterday we got shoved to the ground so often but it just happened to be our fault

In Luton's 2 games so far, there've been at least 7 very strong penalty shouts turned down (not only against Luton, I hasten to add) which really says a lot. By 'very strong' I'm talking 'arm around the player's neck and pulling him to the floor before the ball's even arrived' sort of level, so I think I'm justified in saying that.
I'm gone for 'fairly bad' though; too early to say it's appalling but it's rapidly approaching it!

on average the refs have been fairly bad, but I must say the referee for our last game, away to Coventry, was brilliant, he played advantage well, let the game flow, didn't have to give any yellow cards but still had the players respect. Great ref.

They let the game flow better than the Premiership, although I cant comment on all these desicions because I havent seen half of them but from what I have seen, they dont constantly blow the whistle
