what can I say other than - when you can make a relevant point try again. How can anything on this thread or any other on here be described as relevent? I thought that was the whole point of the board it is the most unrelevent thing on the web! And you sir thrive on this point! So what I posted was relevent in the fact that is is unrelevent! it was thinly veiled attempted relevence, and don't you go tryign to hide behind 'unrelevence, which we all know is irrelevent to the argument which you are sustaining. Therefore I put it to you that your claim of unrelevence, is in fact irrelevent to our irrelevent discussion. (the spurious board [RIP] contained far less relevence to life)

See now you're got me started! What sort of things may be relevant? Intuitively, relevance is a potential property not only of utterances and other observable phenomena, but of thoughts, memories and conclusions of inferences. In relevance-theoretic terms, any external stimulus or internal representation which provides an input to cognitive processes may be relevant to an individual at some time. According to relevance theory, utterances raise expectations of relevance not because speakers are expected to obey a Co-operative Principle and maxims or some other specifically communicative convention, but because the search for relevance is a basic feature of human cognition, which communicators may exploit.

relevence is clearly subjective. Whereas I am unconcerned as to where you appropriated you little study on relevence from, and am merely happy that I found the flaw in your supposed 'original idea' (as you stated no reference it is imediately presumed you are claiming an idea as your own) which you had plagarised willfully and flagrantly. Others may be concerned as to where you found your theived contribution to the discussion. A prime example of this would be the author of the 'original' thought with which you presented us. I suggest that you discreditation is sufficient enough to render the source of your stealing as irrelevent. Discuss.

Tis true that this piece concerning relevance was extracted from a great scholar & thinker. However is shows initiative on my part for doing the research, analysis and appropriate editing in order to try and educate the uneducated! Hence showing that I have the relevant skills to track down such a relevant study, to contribute to this irrelevant thread, means that the unrelevance becomes acutely relevant. Thank me Shippers as I am making your afternoon worth while!
