Just got back from our lovely week in the sun, and as is right and proper, our thoughts immediately turn to keeping you lot amused. And I don't think there's too much RBNO material on here either. Sorry! ;D Enjoying a spot of dinner........well, some of us seem to be enjoying it more than others: Some quiet time away from the kids (who seemed to spend most of their time annoying the local Spanish children....): Here's Lee getting in on another photo which did not intend to include him...much to Si's "amusement": Ryan takes the plunge: And finally, for now at least (until Si gets on here), Lee does his now famous "Hannibal Leeecter" impersonation: ;D ;D

Nice pics Sarah Hey I was working right next to Sincil Bank today, in the control centre at the Fire Station - Horncastle, Louth and Wainfleet got battered by the floods and I part of the flood management team. Couldn't help but wonder if the Victorian age drainage in some of those places was to blame

Poor sods in Louth, once is bad enough! How hellish has it been at work? Dealing with the public? Ah, but some of the very best Victorian drainage was built by Joseph Bazalgette (a hero of mine) and it's still doing the business...

Lincoln is fine, but the areas I mentioned took one hell of a hit. We didn't take many calls from the public, we were the 'final stop' for calls after they had called the likes of the local councils, police, highways etc. We had Radio Lincolnshire and East Midlands today down though I was glad to do my bit though, it was surreal watching News 24 in the morning showing places we were in the middle of helping I'm off to Newcastle finally, a week yesterday! Decided it was about time I bit the bullet and buggered off to be happy Nice pics Sarah Hey I was working right next to Sincil Bank today, in the control centre at the Fire Station - Horncastle, Louth and Wainfleet got battered by the floods and I part of the flood management team.
