I have got a cat but it lives at my Dads in the sticks as when I moved back into London about 8 years ago I was scared he would get run over. He is a ginger Tom I got from the Cat Rescue League when he was a kitten and is now 13 years old but still full of energy!. I see him a lot though and he is enjoying his retirement catching birds and baby ducks down the river. I will get a piccy up as soon as I find one.

My cat who has departed stayed at my mums as I moved out and didn't think it would be fair if she came with me. She had the run of the garden etc., and wouldn't have had that if she came with me. Must say it's weird how she always recognised me when I visited my folks place! No I'm back in the south east, we've been adopted by a one eyed cat - who has an awsome character

Yeah my cat still knows me well. All I have to do is shout his name when I am about a quarter of a mile away from my dads house and he will come running! When I stay over there he refuses to slepp anywhere else than on my bed which can be annoying but I love him so ;D

The kids have a Hamster i would gladly neck. No real pets since my dog died a few years back. I would like a Border Collie but it is time that holds me back. Would love a Snake or a large Spider but the kids would freak out.

Indeed they do. Where i live it is surrounded by fields and woods so walking is not a problem. Used to walk miles with my old dog. The kids have a Hamster i would gladly neck. Mr H is desperate for a dog and as a suprise for his birthday I've registered us with some breeders to get a bassett hound puppy.

Hello my darling. How's Staffordshire? I think the bassett is a good choice. It needs a lot of love and doesn't need to walking very far lol. Plus look how cute and pissed off it looks ;D

Plus look how cute and pissed off it looks ;D Hello gorgeous lady Staffordshire is ok, missing being near friends and places I know, but I ventured out all by myself yesterday (to go to Nottinghamshire, but I still managed to find a route out!). Just need a job now! I like the not-walking-very-far idea. Dog GfJ is very old (and cute), but he's not very energetic, which we like! Ha, not as pissed off as this one I found...is it me, or does it look distinctly hungover?
