I was wondering by the river a few days ago and noticed loads of bats flying over it. Very hard to photograph when they're flying extremely fast and with just my on camera flash but this is what I got.

Some non-cricket themed photos from Australia: Bridge in the docklands area of Melbourne. Meerkat in Melbourne Zoo. Christmas Day sunset, again in Melbourne. Seagulls on St. Kilda beach. Again, the mighty city of Melbourne! New Year fireworks in Sydney. No idea what this is, but apparently it's pretty popular. Finally, this one's again from Melbourne, but it sums up how I've been feeling for the past week since arriving back home!

I don't think I'd have enjoyed it half as much if England hadn't retained the Ashes... However, I loved Melbourne. It's a city that having seen on TV, I just fell in love with. It's a sporting city (the MCG is probably the best stadium I have ever visited), had the right kind of climate and just didn't feel as much as a tourist city as Sydney. Sydney was alright, I didn't do as much as I would've liked and it was just so humid! But it's an awesome country and I'd love to go back one day! A person I met over there is living in Melbourne for a bit and her Facebook statuses about having tickets to the MCG and Australian Open are making me very jealous.
