Point is it's too early, think you should start calling for his head come Christmas if things don't improve. However you've not spent money on players really, but he does seem to be making a hard time for himself. 2.4million for kuqi for 1 goal 250,000thousand for green for 1 goal he needs to sort out the team! As a coach he is pretty decent but the amount of money he is prepared to spend on distinctly average or less players is just stupid.

The football is rubbish the tactics are non existant and his signings apart from Cort and probably Scowcroft could not get into a league 2 team or Millwall Taylor out Hated by Southend hated by Leicester and now the fans who once idolised him as a player say "in the name of God go!!" or take the England under 21 job full time so that we get some compensation

...fact we have better players then you, yet we cannot get them to play as a team like you (hints the fact we just ran around for 90minutes) this is the whole point of this thread... If you have better players than Norris or Buzsaky, I'd like to know who the hell you think they are(!) but yes, overall you're right. My impression of Selhurst Park was that it was full(?) of frustrated and disillusioned supporters watching a bunch of players who'd rather be anywhere else but on the pitch. Your team was woeful and your supporters were largely silent (except for the small group in the Arthur Wait) until the end - when you all booed them off the pitch. You clearly need to stop the angst - at the moment the players and fans are just heightening each others agonies... BTW - I love all this: "the likes of Plymouth" stuff - with any luck we can slip quietly into the Premiership before anyone else notices!

Bottom line is he should be cruising the league, but because Tango is a tight arse it ain't happening! To be fair he has just shelled out big time for the stadium.

Your asking whats the point of a club owning its own ground?? How about securing its long term future, or not living in fear that we could end up homeless like the scum and end up playing at a rec centre.

My point was, that if he does not continue to invest; ie buy players to secure your path to the Prem. Then the purchase of the ground will loose it's value.
