More concrete rumblings about him coming now. From the BBC:
Leicester linked with Riordan bid
Derek Riordan is still out of the first-team picture this term
Derek Riordan's agent claims that Leicester City are poised to make a move for the Celtic striker this week.
The 24-year-old former Hibernian forward, previously linked with Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich, has become frustrated by his lack of games.
Agent Jim McArthur told The Sun: "Leicester have been in touch and I'd expect them to step it up.
"I've spoken with their owner, Milan Mandaric, and I would like to think something could move this week."
McArthur pointed out that the English Championship outfit had lost out to Cardiff City in their attempts to sign Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink.
"They went in for Hasselbaink and didn't get him and now they've turned their attentions to Derek," said the Scotland international's agent.
Mandaric had last week told the Daily Mail: "I can confirm that Martin Allen has an interest in Riordan, for sure.
"There are some discussions going on between us and Celtic. We're at an early stage."
Discussions with Sheffield Wednesday failed to produce a move earlier this week.
And Riordan has also been linked with a move to West Brom and Norwich City.
The Scotland international said last month that he would use the month of August to contemplate his future.

Know very little about him, hopefully he can stick the ball in the net unlike some of our current crop.
