................
This is what I've been hearing anyway:
Martin Taylor from Birmingham for £1m and Robbie Blake from Leeds for 800k.
Taylor would be a good addition, Blake knows Boothy from his time at Leeds, I'd prefer Helguson back tho.

Paul Robinson back from W.B.A for around 900k & Alain Goma on a free. Lee Hendrie today linked with a 500k move aswell, Adie has shown he can control known bad boys so why not? Wages could be a problem tho. I heard something about Zoltan Gera aswell but doubt that will materialise.

As endearing as that image is Mort, I don't think that's enough to attract me.
Heard today that we maybe after Nathan 'The Duke' Ellington from Wigan for £3.25 mill to partner Marlon 'King of the Vic' King.
I could see that pairing working well, if it actually happens is another story.

Actually- there is no way AB would spend that kind of money, the most he'd spend on a player wouldn't be over at most £2 mill IMHO. Think he'd do well to get some fringe players in the Prem, or maybe Upson from Brum.
Also found out that Umaru Bangura the 18 year old from Sierra Leone, who this season with us had some permit problems, has gone on loan to Hønefoss in the Norwegian 2nd division. Watford reckon he is a class talent. The Hønefoss trainer says he has good control & balance and shows a lot of promise. He was MOM in their last game aswell apparently.

I reckon with the news Kirkland is set to leave the Reds on a free he could be well worth a punt.
We'd have to fight off stiff competition but it'd be worth it if Fozzie isnt coming back.
Upson would add pace to the back to complement Demerit but Birmingham would demand a hefty fee.
I'd like to see Danns Commins McLeod even Sol Davis from Luton being pursued.
Apparently AB has had his eyes on some Continental players whom the scouts have been watching for a few months.Guess they'd be cheaper.

What about Carlos Edwards, he looked tasty against us this season as RB for lu*on... Can't remember Davis impressing tbh.

<quote>Watford are thought to be considering a move for Croatian goalkeeper Joey Didliuca. The 27-year-old currently plays for Austria Vienna, but has been vocal in his desire to move to a high-profile league.
The Hornets' top transfer priority is Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster, who performed excellently at Vicarage Road on loan last term. However, it is unclear at this stage whether he will be allowed to resume ties with the Hertfordhire side next season, as he may be used as deputy to Edwin Van Der Sar at Old Trafford.</quote>

Kilgannon would be too high a price I think & Healy I think is on Wigans list as well.As for Sodje he is extremely error prone a most definite no thank you leave at all costs player. Doesnt look too great at present ! No sign of chasing for Commins or Danns mores the pity. With AB back expect some signings to be announced this or next week !

Found this on football-rumours.co.uk....had to post it just for comedy value!
"Marlon King is leaving Watford for Charlton for 3.5 million! This transfer could leave Watford in serious trouble, making them almost dead certs for relegation. AB is trying to lure talents too but is failing miserably, therefore could table a 10million pound bid for Heskey!"
